Cubster's 16th Region Poll 2/10/07
basketballmom replied to Cubster's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Play at FT line and keep him off the glass, has this been successful? Not in my opinion. If this statement is true he certainly has more that enough time to improve. Very scary! Jackson can be his own worst enemy. Everyone would probably agree that he is a very unselfish player. He is an extreme team player (good quality) but needs to understand that its ok to go ahead and "do his thing". :flame: -
Totally agree with this post. LCA should be proud!!!! Job well done by the coaches, players, parents, etc..... :jump:

I might add that sometimes you don't even see them come out on the floor. Another player dunked the ball before Chad ( within 5-10 seconds before) so I'm curious as to when the rule takes effect. Is it when the refs are on the floor facing the players OR when they first step into the gym? -

A good team. Ge-lawn looked very good and Victor had an awesome game. My favorite part about the team is the young coach on the bench that gets up and slaps hands with the players and simply gets them motivated. He seems to just connect with them on a personal level. I agree with previous posts that Victor Moses doesn't seem to get the recognition he deserves. -

Ummmm Seriously..... I believe either a Mason OR Scott county player should have received the technical. Does anyone know? -

Did a specific player receive the technical? How was this handled? Just curious. -

I find it interesting that the only "negative" comment you can come up with is "held back aren't they"?? I may be incorrect, but I believe BOTH players will be 18 through their last senior basketball game. So what 's the issue here?? -

Thanks for the information on Jones. Any information on the college choices of the seniors you listed? Big fan of BSHS. Wish them all the best. -

I'll take a guess at this. Lewis is the sole senior in the group of five mentioned. All others will return next year. I may be incorrect on Jones but I am sure about the others. -

Rose Hill lost this game. Rams played a fantastic game. Bad calls were made, as in every basketball game. No cop out. Rams were the better team on Thursday evening. -

We all know any team can be beaten on any day. I'm a big RH fan and I personally do not believe this game defines who they are as a team. Any team can and will have an "off" night. AND some teams can be "on" and miss practically nothing and have alot of calls go their way. This game in no way is indicative of how good Rose Hill is. You simply move on and prepare for the next game. See ya at Ashland. Go Rose Hill! Great game RAMS! -

Chase Jackson had a great game. Seems that his knee is still not 100% but he continues to improve. Great job, Chase! -

Keep it going Tiny. You got em drooling on their computer screens. Trying to figure out exactly what you got going on. They're losing sleep over this ya know. I am very glad you worked out your differences with Boyd County since you said in an earlier posts you would never send another kid to that school. -

Sometimes Ms. Liberty, it is best to form your own opinion rather than listening to others. While I am reading your post I just want to take out my red marker and bring to your attention the grammar errors, etc. oops! its just the mom in me. I guess I feel like there are other things more important you should be worried about. -

Who is the Coach of the Year in the 16th region?
basketballmom replied to Rickyp's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I voted days ago but decided to post my thoughts about Coach Fraley. An absolute great motivator and very intelligent coach. Someone who has patience with his players and cares for them genuinely. He is blessed to have such a driven and "eager to learn" team that makes it more pleasurable to coach. I anticipate a great basketball season for RH guys and gals. I appreciate the kindness from the RH family and the academic involvement with my sons which I and the RH school feel is of much more importance. Without question, Coach Fraley and staff (Euton, Bush, Barber)! -
Who wins it in the 16th?

Coach Euton of Rose Hill is a fine coach. She is as capable as any other coach to help her team be victorious. -

Your post was negative AND lacked facts. Just my opinion! And I guess I may be a teeny weeny bit sensitive, but that's just the way it is. :thumb:
