Rose Hill cause there darn good!

Tossup between Rose Hill (Will the referees nitpick in calling fouls?), West Carter (They got the easiet draw of the big three.), or Russell (How physical will Okora be allowed to play without fouls being called?). Talentwise, this is a far better field overall than exists in the boys's tournament.

Isn't that the case nearly every year in the 16th?

I'm going to go with Russell, especially if it comes down to coaching.

Rose Hill took the battle between the Hill and the Devils earlier in the year, but you can bet that Kidwell has hoped that he would get one more chance to prove that his lady devils can beat the Hill. This game will hinge on how well Sparks and Fortman handle the pressure of Rose Hill's gaurds. If Russell can get the ball into their half-court offense they are pretty hard to stop. I agree with scooterbob in saying the refs will have a lot to do with this game because both teams can play physical. If I had to pick right now I would have to give the nod to the Red Devils 54 to Rose Hill 49.

One more note, Don't count out Rowan Co. Coach Thomas has proven that defense will win you a championship. Anyone that has played Rowan this season knows that one thing is for sure, they come at you hard on defense.

I tend to agree with Scooterbob on the foul issue. Last night the officials let the boys play. If the officiating is the same, I can't see RH losing. However, if officiating is tighter, Russell would be the fave. Okoro has a knack for being physical without drawing as much attention. She can shove you right out of the lane due to her sheer strength without looking like she's trying to move a refrigerator.

Doesn't Russell have to beat East in the first round?

How is Daniels?

And Rose Hill must defeat Fleming County. The losses suffered by Morgan County and Ashland in the boys's tournament should be good lessons to Rose Hill and to Russell. You must win today to play tomorrow.

Officiating in the postseason almost always is in favor of physical play. They'll be some dirty jerseys after these games!:sssh:

Rose Hill has far superior talent in the starting five. They must avoid foul trouble and injury. If they do no one in this region can play within 10 points of them.

I agree Scooter....anyone caught looking ahead will be looking to next year if they aren't careful.
