Who wins it in the 16th?

Tossup between Rose Hill (Will the referees nitpick in calling fouls?), West Carter (They got the easiet draw of the big three.), or Russell (How physical will Okora be allowed to play without fouls being called?). Talentwise, this is a far better field overall than exists in the boys's tournament.

You seem to infer that if the fouls are called against RH the ref's are nitpicking but if they dont call fouls then they are letting Okora play too physical.......pick a side of the fence already.

Its also interesting that you easily dismiss Raceland as they have already beaten West.

My side of the fence is the one that expects the referees to make consistent calls and to do so on both ends of the court. Nothing more and nothing less. Do you seriously doubt my observation that West Carter got an easier draw than did Rose Hill or Russell? I feel sure that Rose Hill and Russell would gladly trade places with West Carter in the brackets. Raceland has nothing to do with it. The advantage is that both of the other top teams are in the opposite bracket from the Lady Comets.

Rose Hill took the battle between the Hill and the Devils earlier in the year, but you can bet that Kidwell has hoped that he would get one more chance to prove that his lady devils can beat the Hill. This game will hinge on how well Sparks and Fortman handle the pressure of Rose Hill's gaurds. If Russell can get the ball into their half-court offense they are pretty hard to stop. I agree with scooterbob in saying the refs will have a lot to do with this game because both teams can play physical. If I had to pick right now I would have to give the nod to the Red Devils 54 to Rose Hill 49.

You say Rose Hill only scores 49 wow:lol: !

Rose Hill must play soft for the first period, pick-up no needless fouls and fast-break at every chance. After the first period, they can begin their pressure defense on the ball and put the game out of reach by the beginning of the 4th period. But and I mean but, if they pick-up stupid fouls and are not patience on offense when they do not have a fast-break, they will be disappoint at the end of the game. RH plays their game, it will be bad news for Flemming County.

I'm going to go with Russell, especially if it comes down to coaching.

Coach Euton of Rose Hill is a fine coach. She is as capable as any other coach to help her team be victorious.

That will be Russell's objective that night. Slow the game down and control the tempo. They will not allow an up and down game because they don't have the players to play that style. Believe me I want The Hill to score 100...but being realistic I think Russell's control of the game will be what determines the final score.:fight:

Rose Hill because of their offense and experience.
