  1. As I have said in earlier posts that speaking negatively about a kid is just plain pathetic. Remember, they are just kids and sometimes they or their friends may read some of this garbage. I will assure you gopack that Chase"s time will come. And as far as being special.... oh just ask anyone that knows him! Rose Hill has a fabulous team. We all wanted a win but it just was not our time. Stay tuned though....Stick to the game highlights and don't specifically jump on one kid. Now that's the nice version.
  2. I beg to differ with you on this remark. Chase has had some trouble being consistent, but his last few games have been tremendous. I think RH can win and I also think Chase is an important part of this team. And Walrus, I don't recall seeing you in the doctor's office with Chase discussing his "little knee injury". :irked:
  3. Can we get back to the game? A great win for Rose Hill! Bair- fabulous on the 3's tonight! Fuller - tried to shut down Bair and guess who stings ya! F U L L E R ! Euton - 3- pointer to give RH the lead was magnificent Snyder - would NEVER hit anyone intentionally, not even in their "shooting arm" (give me a break) Bush - up in your face defense, he's all over you Chinn - leader, you came to play and to win Jackson - well, you finally are listening to the instructions I shout to you at the games (tee hee hee). Superb defense. Proud of ya. Jackson - Big Man, you keep it coming. 12 blocked shots in JV game. Owens, I think you are a great player. I did see a glimpse of the "attitude" issues when you were leaving the locker room. You never know who is watching............
  4. I wouldn't worry a bit about their confidence. The 8th graders should feel great since they compete with varsity players (I would venture to say they are BETTER than some varsity players). Every team has a chance. This season has been so up and down that you just can't predict a winner. I will be cheering on the Royals and whatever happens.............happens.
  5. Thanks for proving my point. And if you honestly look at the district you will understand any team can be beaten on any given night, ESPECIALLY Ashland. Rose Hill is a very young team but they certainly have the ability to pull an "upset".
  6. Luck of the draw????? signed Rose Hill Fan :creepy:
  7. Tiny: I would like to say to you that you need to continue supporting Owens as you have been. Yes, he certainly has to correct his "attitude" and learn to play "team" ball. I don't believe he has ever played high school basketball and he needs time to learn and adjust. The first step is admitting that he needs to change and he did this with the UMass coaches. Great start Antonio. I have watched him play in Lexington in different leagues, and honestly he has never been taught the game of "team ball". He was always that much better than other players that he just had "free will" in the games. Antonio, I wish the best for you. Understand the sky is the limit for you.
  8. anybody can be beaten on any given night.... including the rest of this season and thereafter. If Rose Hill is staying close with three 8th grade starters I think they have just as good of a chance as everyone else.
  9. No question. BUT........... Jackson, Euton, Bair of Rose Hill cannot be taken lightly.
  10. This was a terrific game for the Rose Hill team. Still very young and making a few mistakes, but the sky is the limit for this team in the next few years. Chad Jackson played an outstanding game that I believe should qualify for player of the week. In my opinion, this would have been a win for Rose Hill if they would have played a better first quarter. Let me stress again, IN MY OPINION! Hats off to the outstanding players of Elliott County. Came on VERY strong in the beginning and fought to the end. Congratulations to Elliott County players and its staff.
