Tough loss tonight for the Mustangs. They still have a ways to go befor they can compete with a school like Beechwood.

Newport gets things turned around this week 16-14

Coach Rice and his staff are in a up hill battle. If it could go wrong it did for Newport. There was a lot of hope at the start of this season. Newport has a few player out with injury that could make an impack. I hope they can get some thing going. They have time to get it right and I think they will. They have some great coachs and players that want to win.

I heard a rummor today that Cody Short #30 Newports top player from last year could be returning from a ankle injury. Maybe for this game? I am going with the Wildcats in a close game 24-20
