I hope he is ready to play but my source tells me he will be ready to go next week and will sit this one out.

Newport is going to be so much better in a lot of ways than last years team. They spent all winter in the weight room and have worked very hard all summer on there conditioning. They will be one of the fastest teams in NKY. I think this game will show every one how far they have came, but also how far they still need to go. The new coahing staff has there work cut out for them. Every one has been talking about how good of a head coach and his staff they have and I think we will find out a little more about that also.

I am going take PC in a close one.

I heard that he would be out for a week, and would not play in this game because of his injury.

Newport has come a long way under the new coachin staff. They looked very good last week even with some of the starters out. I still thing the Tigers will come out on top again this year in a close one.

Cody did have surgery and every thing went well. Sounds like he may be ready mid to later in the season.

This is something no one thinks to much about till it happens to you or some one you know. I was wondering if it has happen to you or any one you know? What was the injury and how did it happen? How long did it take to get over it.

I think it went well. Every one had some fun.

Cody Short might be out for the season. This could be a big loss. He would have been a 3 year starter. They will miss his senior leadership on the field and the experience. I know he and the coaching staff was expecting a lot from him. He will be going to the doctor Monday he may find out something then.

Newport has had a tough week at practice. Short and Slusher both are out with ankel injurys.

I think they only have around 15 or so.

Newport has been hard at work. Does any know how they are looking?

What happen to Pic? What about the assitant coach's? The Newport varsity has almost a hole new staff.

Newport is rebuilding under the new head coach. They will have a new QB and most of the O and D line. It will be another tuff year for the Cats.

I have been looking to attend at least one more football camp befor school starts, but I am haven trouble finding them it looks like most schools have had there camp. If any one knows of or can give me a web sit that has them. I am looking in KY, OH, IN.

Newpot looked very good tonight they have a very athltic team, very fast.

I would say Buckler could play in any class. A running back is only as good as the line that is in front of him. Buckler makes up for his size with speed.

Congrats Tyler!! Looks like all the hard work has paid off.

Teams that will be attending: Campbell County, Beechwood, and Bishop Brossart. The strong man contest will consist of tire pull, axel press, tire flip and some other events. I hope all of the teams will participate for some good fun and competition.

There was no strong man this week.
