One day, and it will feel like it was only yesterday, that young son of yours will be a Senior at CovCath....and you will wonder why did the time have to fly by so quickly.... Have fun, it will be a day you will always remember, he won't, so take plenty of pictures, to let him see when he grows up... Haha tell me about it. I overheard the offensive line coach during detention one time say " Oh well Charlie Weis from Notre Dame is going to stop in and get some film." Now I know who. That would speak great volumes for the football program at CCH for a kid like Pete to go to ND. Good Luck Pete!

Connor was at prom and after-prom and even played some basketball soccer and ultimate frisbee with no real signs of pain.

I would nominate Tim Tierney because of the way he played in the regional competition. Great leader, quick hands, great shot and not afraid to hit the floor. Great kid. I would trust him with my team in the closing seconds of a game.

The Boxing Cheer got applause. The wave got a standing ovation. I'll go with the wave. Hands down best student section in the commonwealth! :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

If Samari Rolle played basketball for CCH, I would be his best friend at school. The number 20 in the picture is sophomore Chris Roll, an excellent player with a "money" shot from downtown.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that that was the best student section ever at Rupp Arena(including UK's students) and even further on that limb and say that it was the best wave ever at Rupp Arena.

Did anyone else besides me notice that Tierney looked like Nestheide on the jumbotron at times? CCH and Holmes will battle next year for #1, but to be honest I cannot wait to see the sophomore class at CCH when they are seniors. They have 4 excellent players in Bondick, Grimes, Schmerge and Roll. Add Aaron Noll, freshmen(will be juniors) Luke Maile and Matt Shover and you have one hell of a ballclub. If newcomer Clay Lampl comes around, I'd watch out for CCH in 2008.

The basketball team might not be going out on top, but the seniors in the stands are leaving CCH on an extremely good note. I've never been involved in a section like that and it just kills me to know that was my last game, but we went out on top on the biggest stage.

CCH and South Laurel in the finals. Like to see the "sea of blue" not have to stop its wave in the final game. NKY needs another state title. CCH by 3 in the finals.

2004-Was in Gulf Shores, missed Rupp and seeing the Colonel Crazies 2006-Was in Gulf Shores, missed regional tourney. It's my turn for Rupp and I cannot wait. It is gonna be CRAZY.

WOW! If you had told me 6 weeks ago that Holmes would lose first round, I would have thought you were crazy.

Calm down. I'm just saying CCH is a different team now and I think the number one team is going to win.

CCH could have beat Highlands by 8+. They were up by more than 10 at one point and let Highlands back in. I still think CCH is the favorite and if they play they way they have been lately, they should win. BTW, does anyone know what HHS's and CCH's state rankings are. I'm just wondering.

CCH wins because they ripped apart the only team that really poses a threat to them besides Highlands and if CCH plays like they did against Holmes, Highlands won't put up much of a fight. If CCH plays like they did against Holmes they should breeze through. But if they combine the guard play from the Holy Cross game and the big men play from the Holmes game, the state had better watch out!

Schult and D. Noll had one heck of a game. If CCH plays like they did tonight they will breeze through the tourney and go pretty far in the state tourney. . Jacobs, Bovard from CCH, Steenken from HC, Romes from Beechwood, and Hill and Avery from HHS were All-District team with Tierney as the MVP.

Thoughts anyone? Haven't heard much about Frankfort but CCH is clicking right now.
