  1. Walt Lambert. He is a very good coach and very knowledgeable of the game. He will have these girls playing the game the right way.
  2. Could be but there were times she was open and she never got the ball. It just wasn't her PG who did not give her the ball. I will say Peters played her well but I would have to say the majority of the time Tibbs got the ball she could not be stopped.
  3. I agree with you however, when Scott played Campbell County a couple of nights ago they did not utilize her at all. She should have gotten the ball the majority of the time on offense and I would say she got it about the 1/4 of the time Scott had the ball on offense.
  4. I have to say this score surprises me. I guess Scott realized Tibbs needs the ball a lot more than what they were giving it to her.
  5. I agree with you on this by why in the world is Tibbs not getting the ball every time down the court? In my opinion when she did get the ball Campbell County could not stop her. This left me scratching my head on why she did not get the ball more often.
  6. If I remember right Nathan pinned the guy.
  7. He is from Houston, TX and has won a National Championship in AFA. This team will be MUCH better than they have been. Has coached quite a few All Americans (NCAA) and very good connections with college coaches. They will be much more disciplined and fundamentally sound. Even the 2 weeks he was here last year working the girls they improved greatly with their hitting. He is very good at what he does. He did not have to take the job but wanted to so he could show the girls the correct way to play the game. Ask any of the girls what they think of him. They will tell you. I am just saying you will see a different team this year and they will compete in every game and might surprise a few teams. Yes, they did hire the athletic trainers dad.
  8. IMO, if the girl can hit there is no reason why a high school coach would change the players hitting.
  9. I think Campbell County could make it into the top 5. They have a new coach and this will be a different program than what they have had in previous years.
  10. I can't figure out the multi-quote or I would have done it to my last post. I had just said this to someone else today. I whoever Florida played last night or anytime during this bowl season they would have beat them about the same they did to UC. Maybe not as bad if they played Alabama but anyone else I think they would have. I just think Tebow and the senior class was on a mission.
  11. To be honest they were not given chances in the games against ranked teams. People thought they would not be good as they had lost 10 of their 11 starters on defense. I remember watching quite a few games when they played ranked teams where the broadcasters kept saying they were not a very good team (USF game especially). Also, the only person giving UC any respect from the national media was Herbstreit.
  12. I am hoping for a UC win. I keep telling people I am hoping for a Boise State over OU (Fiesta Bowl) type of upset.
  13. OK, sorry I misread the post and I am under the impression you can give a partial scholarship. Maybe I am wrong on that (read my comment below). For the other person who said it was all or nothing in Div I, I am not so sure that is correct. Is that just for football? I have worked with plenty of athletes who get partial scholarships and they have gone to Div I schools but they were not football players.
  14. That is still ALOT of money when it costs over $50,000 to go there A YEAR.
  15. :thumb: The other thing I do not think people are taking into consideration is all of these football players do not get full rides. It is over $50K to go there a year per their website. We know that AC can afford to go there but can Simpson truly afford this type or even half of this tuition cost? I am just throwing this out. You can only get so many grants and so many student loans. That is alot of debt to be in after a 4 or 5 year education.
  16. Here is the link for what he said in the locker room. It is sad. http://www.wlwt.com/video/21992736/index.html RIP Chris Henry.
  17. Very happy about this one. I was a little worried he would go to ND and yes I know he is a local guy however, this is a funny game.
