As I say this, The Flyers are the ones that have something to prove. For whatever reason, The flyers did not play there best game. And maybe EJHS is right, East may have a few things they have been saving until the playoffs. We shall see...:thumb:
There has to be a first week!!! If not, there is no second week!!!! In all seriousness, that is why they play the games folks. They're not played on paper.
The only thing Belfry did was beat the players and team of O Cath. No system won or lost. It all comes down to executing whatever system you run. Don't get me wrong, I love the spread offense, but nothing replaces good ol' execution! :thumb:
I think this one is more interesting now than at the start of the year. Newport has been inconsistant and Henry Co. is getting more weeks under their belt with Engstrand.
Don't let the fact that he wasn't the DC make you think he is not able to be one. The man knows defense. I am sure he looked at last year's tape and any other to put together an effective game plan.
I agree, they have improved. Don't let the numbers get you down. It is still 11 on 11.
With playing Franklin, I believe ball control will be very important. EJ cannot let them get up to much early b/c they do not have they explosiveness to catch up.
Easy there... I have seen the game film of that game and it was Catholic. Give credit where credit is due. I would like to believe you guys will hang with them. You will for the first half and then...:flame:
UK needs to worry about CM. We can keep on chattin away!! S Carolina is a very winnable game. I think TV will help recruiting because the focus for ESPN will be the improvement of UK versus the behavior problems if S.C.
We all know what happens when we assume. While we will not get into specifics again, the previous coaches moved on to pursue other coaching opportunities. You're right, the best thing for WH is a coach who will be there for a good while and build some trust among the players and allow them to have the same playbook for awhile. And Miller is the right man for the job.
