I don't see how LC could make a big enough improvement in one year to win this game. Their history against this group of St. X Seniors does not bare out a LC win. 1. As Freshman, these current St. X Seniors went in to Lexington in their last game of the season and capped off a 10-0 season with a major beat down against LC. St. X's three's and four's played almost the entire 4th quarter and allowed the only LC score in the game. 2. As a Sophomore JV squad, LC came to the Ville and had to return to Lexington with nearly the same result and they brought a few Juniors with them to help out. 3. Last year on Varsity, when X played a large number of Juniors which are now Seniors, on both sides of the ball, X took it to them for the third time in three years. I believe this will definitely be a closer game than last year, but I don’t see LC coming away with the W. St. X – 28 Lex Cath – 10 :thumb: GO TIGERS! :thumb:

This is one of those games that could go either way. It may very well come down to who has the ball at the end of the game. But, since I can't sit on the fence forever, I'll take the duPont Manual Crimson Rams in a nail biter 17–14. :thumb: GO RAMS! :thumb:

I could be wrong, but I believe Vic was on the injured reserve list last year when we played Lex. Cath.?

You obviously must have left at half time. 0 for 4 in the 1st half certainly is dismal; but, 7 for 8 in the 2nd half is anything but dismal.

St. X is coming off a not so stellar first half, followed up by a pretty good second half, to get the victory over Ballard. Now it's their second home game on the new field. What is Oldham County like this year. I know in the last ten years they have had some really good teams. Thoughts? Predictions?

With the Shamrocks playing on their home turf, this one's a no Brainer. Bowling Green is a well coached team, but overcoming that home field advantage, while not impossible. is highly unlikely. Game Prediction = Trinity by 3 TD's late in the game.

One would expect this to be an easy prediction. Unfortunatly, IMHO, I don't think so. By all rights, Manual should and probably will come away with the "W". But what little I have seen, and what I've heard a lot about this Central team, is that they play with heart and commitment. That can prove to be a deadly combination if Manual takes them to lightly. I don't expect that; but I have seen it in them on occasion in the last five years as a casual observer from their stands. Final Score Prediction = Crimsons by a TD. :thumb: GO RAMS! :thumb:
