This years under rated players.
Even though he still has a year to go, Junior R.D. Reynolds had another solid year for North Bullitt. 550 yds rushing, 450 passing, around 200 receiving, 150 on returns, 3 INT's and averaged 8 tackles per game at safety. All-State HM, 1st team All-District at safety as a sophomore and junior. Should be an impact player on both sides of the ball next year.

Best MLB's in the state 2006
Jimmy Blandford, North Bullitt, 6'3" 260 lbs was/is a pretty good one. Averaged 9 tackles per game this year in his junior season.

CJ All State Team
Congrats to Dalton Cissell, R.D. Reynolds and Jimmy Blandford from North Bullitt for making HM. Three kids that will make some noise in 4A playoffs next season!

AP All-State
Where can one find a list of reporters that have a vote in AP?

AP All-State
LSU, Guess that means "your" boy made it. Even if mine had made it, I would still be willing to listen to those who felt "their" boy should have made it. Regardless, it is a joke when a lot of average players get named and other above-average players don't.

AP All-State
I don't know how many votes it takes to get at least a honorable mention listing and I realize that writers are likely to pick someone they actually witnessed playing over someone else who might be more deserving. However, it would seem that SOMEONE could read the KHSAA website and find a vote for a kid that finished #4 in the state in rushing yds with over 2,000 yds especially if that reporter is going to vote for two players at RB from the same school when neither had more than 1,300 yds rushing. Just think the TEAM has no validity when several of the top 25 in rushing are no where to be found, i.e. Chad Wright, Dalton Cissell, Justin Collins, Ronnie Darden, etc. One RB on 3rd team only averaged 90 yds rushing per game thru the 8 games his coach listed on KHSAA. The AP should not even bother publishing a team!

Very well. This thread was started as the complaining thread. Start your own congratulations thread!

The Bacon kid from Ft.Knox is a sophomore who made 3rd team from a team that went 0-11??????

AP All-State
No room on All-State team for a kid that finishes regular season as #4 rusher in state with over 2,000 yds as a sophomore. Two RB's from Southwestern listed as honorable mention with just over 1,000 yds each, yet North Bullitt RB Dalton Cissell left off completely - Give me a break!

Bowling Green
Finally, got to see Bowling Green for the first time last week vs. Louisville Central and yesterday. I certainly did not see all of the college prospects that Coach Wallace talked about having in the paper.

2007 4A Football
North Bullitt will be loaded as well. Return multiple 1st Team All-District players from a 9 team district -- 9 offensive starters back along with 8 on defense including Junior-to-be Dalton Cissell who was voted District Player of the Year after rushing for 2,000+ yds this season. North went 8-3 last year and 7-4 this season. Could be the year they turn it up a notch in the playoffs. QB R.D. Reynolds had 1,300 all-purpose yds and is a two time 1st team All-District safety. North should also have a lot of depth having lost only 6 seniors from the 86 players in the program this year.

2007 Class and District Alignments
4A district 3 has Western that has been pretty good recently District 4 has Bullitt East that went to semi's a year ago, Larue that was pretty good this year and up & coming North Bullitt. Will agree that some teams might be excited about their chances of going a long way if they play in the top half!!!!

True Credit to Your School
That is a great add!! Kudos to this young man.

True Credit to Your School
Dalton Cissell - North Bullitt - Great football player -- Has always been humble even though he was one of the better players even as a freshman last year. 3.5 GPA taking advanced classes. Tireless worker in weightroom.

Bowling Green 21 Central 14
Great effort by the Jackets. They represented the district well. Just wish they would have played all year with the respect they showed to BG last night. It certainly wasn't the same as they showed at SW last week or in earlier district matchups this year. Hugheley was clearly the best player on the field last night.

Bowling Green vs Central
Don't need to walk a mile in their shoes to know that a high school football team shouldn't be allowed to act the way Central has at times this year. I blame their coaches not their kids. Its hard to pull for a team (even one in same district) when they carry on like they do at times.

Bowling Green vs Central
Yeah, the CJ story would be great if the reader didn't know this Central team very well. They have brought everyone's negative views upon themselves by their actions throughout the year and playoffs. Can't wait to see this new modest, disciplined team when they get behind Friday night.

Bowling Green vs Central
And there-in lies the problem for Central. They will not handle adversity well. One would think BG will deliver some.
-
Bowling Green vs Central
Central plays off-campus at 15th and Muhammad Ali Blvd. No, Central does not have a home-field advantage in terms of turnout. If Bowling Green faithful travel like I think they do, BG fans will outnumber Jacket fans 5-1. Some will probably have to sit on home side.

Bowling Green vs Central
The change in classes does help the Eagles as well as the other TOP teams in each class. I like their chances either way since they return a 2,000 + yard rusher along with 8 other offensive starters and 8 on defense. As for BG, as I said, I believe they are talented enough and have enough playoff experience that they will overcome the long trip and playing on the road. Central is talented but they will be outcoached and if they can't keep up early, they will totally fall apart. Doss will be good again but move to 5A. Valley loses a couple of key players, Central will remain in 3A. Although a tough Larue County team joins North's district next year, they lose 22 seniors this year. The top threats on North's side of the state should come from Warren East's district. Look forward to defending my prediction next season.

Bowling Green vs Central
Ox, No one said it took a miracle for Central to beat North - Central was better. Just stating that if North can go on the road and put up big numbers at Central, a more talented, veteran playoff team like BG would have little trouble doing that and more. BG 42 - Central 14 BTW - Next year's North team will be "all that and a cup of tea." They will be in this game in 4A next season. Write it down!

Bowling Green vs Central
I would assume from what I have seen score-wise, that Bowling Green is better offensively and defensively than North Bullitt. That being said, North put up 400 yds offense against Central at the "Hive" in the 1st round in a 28-19 loss. I would think that barring turnovers, the purples win big.

Any info on the Louisville All-Star game 11/24?
Game will be played between East and West senior All-Stars from schools representing the Greater Louisville Football Coaches Association. Played at Male high school on Friday at 2:00.

Bowling Green vs Central
Central trys to play balanced although they would be much touger if they stuck to running the ball and throwing mostly bubbles and screens. They don't. They are not very good defensively if a team runs right at them like SW did and they only play so-so pass defense. They have a ton of talented players but BG will likely win by 3 TD's.
