D1 and D2 really doesn't have what I would call a really good team...D1 will have 3 pretty evenly matched teams while D2 will be between WEast, FSimpson & Russell Co with ACS in the mix on occasion...D3 and D4 will be pretty solid with Larue, Bullitt East, Western, Valley, Fairdale, NBullitt all capable teams....The east side of this class looks strong in D6 and D7

with Franklin and Harrison battling it out in D5 and D8 with no sure bet and alot like D1 and D2 with the balance..

Looking at this Class, I have an unusual thought: It looks like D 3 will be kind of a boring race with western ruling that one for a while. Otherwise, I can see a massive battle going on with the rest of the teams because those programs are consistently "non-perennial" powerhouses, if you know what i mean. Just look at Atherton, Breck. Co, Fairdale & Valley. Valley and Fairdale will probably duke it out for #2 with Breck, Atherton fighting for that last spot. Looks to me like Bullitt East and North Bullitt & Bell Co will have the inside track to the 4-A finals

Lone Oak should be loaded for bear next season. Lone Oak returns 10 starters on offense & 9 starters on defense from a team that went 5-5 & should have been at least 7-3 or possibly 8-2. They were only out-manned against Marshall County (4A). Corey Robinson returns at Qb & should put up some big numbers next year, as he did this past season. Coach Haskins must find a running game to compliment the passing attack. Lone Oak should be a team to watch out for in 2007

North Bullitt will be loaded as well. Return multiple 1st Team All-District players from a 9 team district -- 9 offensive starters back along with 8 on defense including Junior-to-be Dalton Cissell who was voted District Player of the Year after rushing for 2,000+ yds this season. North went 8-3 last year and 7-4 this season. Could be the year they turn it up a notch in the playoffs. QB R.D. Reynolds had 1,300 all-purpose yds and is a two time 1st team All-District safety. North should also have a lot of depth having lost only 6 seniors from the 86 players in the program this year.
