  1. Now guys we have not proved anything until we can somehow beat -outplay one of the most explosive Ram teams that has ever stepped on a football field. :thumb::thumb:GLTA
  2. Graybeard I missed tha game ,yesterday my wife and I had to move our little girl in her dorm at UK. Big D.J. called me call a couple times and gave me some updates on how the Tomcats were doing and really brightened my day up.I am so pleased to hear our Tomcats getting after it on the football field and hitting, its been a long time since we have hit with the" Bad Cat"attitude. Graybeard it sure sounds like the inside running game is working and it all starts on the o-line.:thumb:
  3. I was very pleased Graybeard we looked much better and the main thing we hit and only good things can happen from that.:thumb:
  4. I can't remenber FB # maybe33 or 34 but he was a scrapper and digged for every yard, I liked him tough. Was #9 and # 7 QBS--- guys with me said #7 was in there the whole time, I thought #9 started, he's a little bigger played most of first part of scrimmage and did a good job, #7 had a smaller frame but seemed to be more agile and seemed to have more success at stepping up in pocket and missing defense hitting him, and making play, but by then the #s of the Camels had already taken its toll on the speed of the Tomcat defense. I dont think #7 played at the first part of scrimmage and if he did im sorry and I might give the edge for better game at QB to him. The camels have the luxury of two fine QBs and look to have a good core of receivers who took some pretty good shots and held on to the ball and missed a few that should have been caught, and with practice will be caught. I like the camel offense nice crossing routes with receivers and not afraid to get hit after catching football. The Camels were a well disciplined football team and showed it on football field.#97 Has to one of the captains on that swarming d-fense that communicated together as a unit ,i also like the defensive secondary of this football team lots of different schemes and packages and communicated to one another loudly and where the football is at. Good luck to the Camels on a fine football season.:thumb:Wished the Tomcats could get 70-75 players out for football, it takes a special young man to play the game of football and I salute and respect every single one of them.
  5. I also like Alber at Fullback, also, must have a strong agressive quick o-line for both these talented running backs.
  6. Doesn't Ironton go into thier 3point stance like that every play and some times come off the ball in up position? I agree eliminate it.:thumb: Congrats LC on thier State Championship win .
  7. Be nice to get Ironton Fighting Tigers back ON schedule,Wheelersburg Ohio,Prortsmouth Ohio are very good Teams Also, another Ohio team Gallia Academy Bluedevils always play Ironton a good game .:thumb: Belfry always plays Ironton a good game and in turn i beleave the better comp. helps the Pirates Congrats to Belfry for a great year and making eastern Ky. proud.:thumb:
  8. The unseen stats of the o-line that make the blocks that make the Pirate offense roll.Iwould luv to see all the great blocks made ,the timing ,line surge, defensive players put on thier backs ,got to be some All-Staters on that line or could be after this last GAME.Great job o- line:thumb:
  9. Concrats Belfry Pirates 62 points wow! Win the State Pirates.
  10. Concrats LCA on a great win. Alot of Raceland fans have been saying all along LCA was the best team they faced all year. Good luck LCA.
  11. 62-21 Were can i buy me a red Pirate hoody sweatshirt?2ND Team backfield in 5 min left.
  12. Belfry's Team (IMO) comes out ready to play tonight and wows us with the wishbone offense, which is a pleasure to watch.Luv the Bone, roll Pirates.:fight:
  13. I've only saw two of JCs Games,Ashland and the 2nd Bryan Station game and the kicks were short ,has it been this way all year? Both teams had runningbacks that could break a return. I have to agree jahearme this could be a problem if the kicking game is in question. JC will hit you big time and can break one on you with the run or pass. Sounds like LC has a good football team also,do they spread the field on offense and have good special teams? Good luck JC ,hope both teams play injury free.:thumb:
  14. At JCs last game was the first time ive seen the Air Force offense run since Matney was at Sheldon Clark ,with the two wings and one in motion really gets the blocking to the outside .I was very impressed with JCs O-LINE timing and quickness (imo)the heart of this offense.I have not seen Belfry play ,sounds like one of their better teams .JCs def. against the inside running game of Belfry wins this game:thumb:Good luck to both teams.
  15. In my book Highlands football is the defiinition of the word elit.In the seventies Ashlands Coach Conley Patterened his teams as close as possible to be like Highlands. We were not ask to get bure haircuts but most of us did anyway,Conley was a very successfull coach thru the seventies.I wished the Tomcats could have had the honor to have played Highlands in 1971-1972.I do know training and practices were much harder then playing a game. The dedication to play football two classes higher shows the Bluebirds attitude of playing the game .:thumb:
  16. Go Buccaneers:thumb: Kick you make a guy feel old, decades;) Great game by the Tomcat Freshman ,bright future ahead for Tomcats. Johnson's passing surprized me ,all the freshman congrads .:thumb:
  17. I wished i could watch the game but have a game at JC.Good luck to both teams .
  18. I think one more game at Putnam next year.:thumb: Why change a good thing ,get paid to put a whipping on the Tomcats .
  19. JC Congrads on a good win, looking forward to those good cheeseburgers next week at the Nest.
  20. If Tomcats lay it on the line ,play BAD CAT football Tomcats will win.:thumb:
