It was a 5 point game until the last 2 minutes, and then Mason County built a quick 11 point lead on a 13-3 run. Bourbon fouled early and tried to get back in, but it was just too late. Nice game by both teams.

I think this will be a great game, but I'm going to go with Montgomery. They are on a roll right now, so I'll take them winning by 5-10 points.

Who was guarding Sanker?

From what I have heard, they have a good group of underclassmen coming up, and will be strong for years to come.

Final from last night in Alexandria. It went down to the wire. Mason made a shot to tie it, but then Brossart went the length of the floor to score a basket as time expired. Sanker led all scorers with 35 points.

I'm not saying losing by 30+ points helps, but losing a game (when being undefeated) at this time of the year never hurts.

Anyone know the outcome of this game? I heard during the boys game that it was 48-40 Brossart in the 4th quarter, but that's the last I heard.

That's terrible news. Both for her and the team. She is providing nearly 10 points a game to a team who has trouble finding scorers other than Menke. What was the diagnosis?

Does anybody know if Beth Queen will be playing tonight? She got hurt Monday, and I haven't heard her condition. That plays a factor into this game as well.

The winner of the St. Pat/Mason Co. game will win the district, IMO. Mason got the worst draw they could ask for, BUT, that being said, I think that they could surprise some people. This game will be a hard-fought game, and it should be very fun to watch. Wouldn't it be interesting if the Mason County team thought to be nothing at the beginning of the year turned out to make some noise in the post-season?
