True...Litkenhous ratings also favored LCA.

It doesn't surprise me that Lex Christian won but the margin certainly does, especially with the game being at Rowan. I'm sure that RC will bounce back.

A loss may help, but I don't know that a 34 point loss does. But as I said, I think that Tackett has a pretty mentally tough bunch - they will put this behind them and move on.

Unless there were serious issues with team chemistry, I cant see how this type of loss can help. I do agree, however that it is best to forget this game and move on.

I'm not saying losing by 30+ points helps, but losing a game (when being undefeated) at this time of the year never hurts.

Where is Mr. Viking at maybe he can give some info on the game. Did Rowan have everyone playing? Surely they had some issues if they were at full strength I don't see how LCA would have won by so much?

Coach Tackett will rally the team, but this is a tough loss, from the margin.

LCA has three division one players and it is the time of the season to leave it all on the court. Lace em up and get it done.

Things to consider:

Lexington Christian has already won 20 games this season for a record of 20-4. They only have one loss by over 20 points and that was early in the season (first week of December) to Notre Dame. LCA has beaten ranked/highly regarded teams such as Lexington Catholic (twice), Lincoln County, Franklin County, and Newport Central Catholic and in recent weeks won the Class A state championship. They were ranked ahead of Rowan in the BGP and Litkenhous ratings.
