Elizabethtown 101 Fort Knox 17

BGP #6 E'Town romps in this one.

Fort Knox has one win on the season; a 64-11 win over Frederick Fraize.

Ridiculous!!!!!!

As usual I am sure this will spark debate on running up the score. Honestly you can keep from scoring 100. 5 passes before a shot, delay and working on your offense and not allowing a shot until you can run your offense for 30 seconds, lots of stuff that does not make you quit playing.........This is not good.

Is this a district game?? Just asking because if not why do you play it?

What is Frederick Fraise?

I was assuming it was a district game. Interested to hear an answer as very true. Why play it if it is not.

Thanks. I had never heard of them before :thumb:

They're often alternately called Cloverport.

NO EXCUSE FOR THIS!!!! No matter how bad a team may be or how overmatched, this is just BAD:madman:

I agree with you 100%. You are starting to see more and more teams run the score up on other teams.

We've debated the "running up the score" topic a bit this year...I'll pass on that...but...

I don't understand the logic behind those who question why this game was played. District game or not, there is absolutely no merit to the point that this game shouldn't have been played...

Consider: Are we saying that teams that are at a certain level of "awfulness" shouldn't be allowed to play basketball? Perhaps all teams should have to pass a skills test before the season to determine their relative competence and whether or not they should be allowed to play? Or maybe the KHSAA should institute a rule that only teams who are ranked in the pre-season BELOW a certain level be allowed to play the teams that failed the competency test? Why don't we just go ahead and issue a public statement that character-building and team-building are just words and that the only thing that's of value in basketball is winning? (so - if you can't win, don't play) How can a program be ever built up if they aren't scheduled by better teams???? :ohbrother: (behold, the dripping sarcasm)

The illogic of the idea that E-town shouldn't have scheduled Fort Knox is, frankly, amazing.

Just stop the game. If I was a benchwarmer who got time in a game like this I'd be jacking up shots left and right in order to get my 20!!!!!

You can't blame E-Town for the score!
