Hard to beat a team that shoots 74% in the second half. Congrats to Elliot. Evan Faulkner had a heck of a ball game. Keep your heads up Mason. You started out strong, just ran out of juice the second half. Too many careless fouls and turnovers.

I agree. Christian is definitely proving themselves to be one of the best right now.

Final. Lexington Christian avenges their earlier loss to them, and snaps a 12 game Montgomery County winning streak. A win like this will certainly only make Montgomery County stronger. A one point loss to a great team at this time of the year surely doesn't hurt that bad. It just makes you work harder.

Who is in the 62nd district that makes it the toughest in girls basketball?

She won't be back this season, according to what I've heard from some Mason County people.

Bourbon County has only won 4 games, 2 of those being Pendleton County. They are 4-20.

It's nice to see some younger players step up for Mason County. With Queen's absence, Likins, Smith and B. Menke really stepped up and helped fill her void. It was more balanced scoring for Mason than usual. This is what they are going to need to be competitive come tournament time.

Sounds like Pendleton is having a pretty good season.

I know when I was younger and played ball, like 5th grade or something, once we were up by like 30 points we weren't allowed to press anymore until the lead dropped back down, and had to retreat back after lost rebounds and such. Something like this could be done.

Yes, my bad. They beat Woodford County on Saturday. But still, a rough stretch for Rowan, losing 2 out of the last 3 after winning something like 16 straight games.

To say that Mason will lose is an okay bet, but saying that it won't even be close might be a stretch.

I know this is a boy's thread, but Cline and Chambers from Mason County had close to 5,000 when they graduated.

They seem to be in a little rut at the wrong time of the year. Maybe their last loss stunned them a little bit, and they still haven't recovered. Nice win by East.
