How long has the Coach been there, three Years? It sure seems he has done a good job from developing the players, playing a really tough schedule & willing to go on the road to play these teams. It seems to me he sure deserves a lot of credit & may be coach of the year in the 16th.

Coach Cantrell has done a good job and is deserving of any recognition that comes his way. As far as the girls go, they play extremely hard and they play with class as well. Extremely talented offensive players who have given their fans a lot of exciting moments; moments they can be proud of. Good luck with the rest of your season!

Those Ferguson girls (Shae and Kelsey) are very good and Lakin Griffith has been putting up big numbers as of late. They have put together a great year against a very tough schedule that included a win over Scott County.

Just to clarify they won the district regular season title. Obviously that means a number 1 seed but not a trip to the region yet. And you are right Dale, Elliott Co has never won a district game and gone on to the region tourney. They are very talented ball club and could do very well in the post season. With that said, the 62nd is the toughest district in girls basketball in my opinion and no one is making plans to go to Morehead yet!

I had the pleasure of watching these girls play in the regional All A. I really enjoyed the way these girls play the game.
