Final.

Lexington Christian avenges their earlier loss to them, and snaps a 12 game Montgomery County winning streak.

A win like this will certainly only make Montgomery County stronger. A one point loss to a great team at this time of the year surely doesn't hurt that bad. It just makes you work harder.

Huge win for quite possibly the hottest team in the land.

I agree. Christian is definitely proving themselves to be one of the best right now.

Two heavyweights, playing good defense made the game sloppy at times but nothing was coming easy, just wish the officals had done a better job. Wow, missed call after missed call in this one. Maybe these two teams will meet up again for the grudge match in the State Championship game. Excellent crowd tonight.

This what I thought about the officiating though :puke:

Lexington Christian is on a roll.

Tough one for the Lady Indians. This will focus them in even more for the final stretch of the regular season and on into the tournament.

With three seconds left this one almost won it, almost!

Montgomery has played a very tough schedule this year. Usually if they get beat the officials are calling it close. Montgomery is a hard nose team and play very good defense. If the officials try hard enough they can take them out of a game,:taz: Like tonight. I am not taking anything away from LCA they are a very good team. Montgomery plays Rowan Co Friday and Lex Catholic Sunday. So coach Robinson has prepared them for the State tournament. If they make it!

The officials weren't calling it close, they weren't calling it at all! Haha! It was ridiculous the missed calls both ways in this game. The one official has been at it for years and has done several State tournaments and was horrible. Calls went both ways but it seemed like several critical calls/no calls went against Montgomery Co. I think the excitement in the gym got the best of these officials. All that being said, both teams got after one another and it was an exciting game. Both teams miss handled the ball and made numerous turnovers.

I liked the frame by frame pics of the last shot, did you notice Anna Martin's reaction in the 2nd frame? I think she thought it was gonna go through. Gotta love the excitement of a game that goes down to the wire.

Kudos ladies, hope there is a part 3 to the movie!

Man, if the comments about the officials are bad on here, I'd hate to hear what Montgomery's radio announcer (Manley) was saying during the game.

Sounds like a good one. Congrats to LCA (who by the way I believe is one of the best coached teams in the area) and keep your heads up Lady Indians. You've got no time to worry about this game with Franklin Co. coming to town tonight and then Rowan Co. Friday and Lex. Catholic Sunday.

Look at the elevation on this jump ball. Ref is a good point of reference.

It was a high flying affair.
