I don't think Rowan is a lock at all anymore. Earlier in the season, I thought they would run the table, but they aren't playing great right now.

They seem to be in a little rut at the wrong time of the year. Maybe their last loss stunned them a little bit, and they still haven't recovered.

I thought Rowan Co. played Saturday and won. Congrats to Coach Easterling and the Lady Raiders, but I also believe the Lady Vikings will be alright.

Yes, my bad. They beat Woodford County on Saturday.

 

But still, a rough stretch for Rowan, losing 2 out of the last 3 after winning something like 16 straight games.

Huge win for the Lady Raiders and the rest of the region for that matter, now everyone knows Rowan County is beatable.

Rowan Co. has had their way with the 16th. But I believe there are a couple of teams in the 16th that have learned from their first meeting with Rowan. It is possible that there could be a different outcome the next time.:thumb:

Very hard fought game tonight! Both teams played very aggressive and physcial. East never trailed but had lapses. East was up 11 with about 5 to go and Rowan cut it to 1 on two occassions but couldn't get over the hump. East made 9 of 11 free throws in the 4th quarter to seal it.

 

Great game to broadcast, fun to watch!! A great game played by 2 very good, well coached teams!

And they are AT Mongomery Co. this Friday. Should be interesting....

A game that East deserved to win. They got every loose ball, and played very well. Shot well, shot FT's well...all the things you need to do to win basketball games. Congrats on a good win, and the Lady Vikings will get it together, I am sure.
