It should be one of the best games in the opening round, but if it's a run and gun contest, I'm picking Christian County!

My grandson attended his first Sweet Sixteen in March after he was born in January. He's been to every one of them since...AND WILL PLAY IN THIS ONE! I've been listening to them on the radio since the 1940s and have attended several, both at Rupp and Freedom Hall, the site of Christian County's first state appearance in the early 70s and UHA's triumph in 1992. Looking forward to being there in Rupp Thursday and Friday.

CSI, you must have been in Miami because you did not hear the JBS coach say such a thing. The JBS haters have deliberately lied in telling such a tale, and it's sad to see how you and other haters are oh so eager to pick it up and spread it like an arson wildfire. Some of us happen to like JBS and have the greatest respect for the coaches and their players. Some of you should be ashamed for the way you try to put down those kids, as well as their coaches. June Buchanan School is a private school. A great one, at that.

Christian County is very athletic and I think they would give Mason County problems.They play a relentless style of defense and use about 12 athletes.I've seen both teams play this year. Christian County has to make it out of the district though they play University Heights in the first game of the tournament.

The blazers will have a very tough opening round district game against Christian CO.The colonels may be playing as good as anyone in the 2 Region right now. I hate the blind draw it should be outlawed.

It's heartbreaking to think that this boy might be reading some of the vitriolic venom that's spewed out on him and his family by some of these supposed grownups who unabashedly claim their hatred for them. It must be terrible to hate others so much. Makes you wonder if they can like themselves.

So I suppose that means that Jenkins, Pikeville, Cumberland, Sheldon Clark, Prestonsburg, Fleming County, Montgomery County, Henry Clay, Berea, Allen Central, Perry County Central, Betsy Lane, Breathitt County, Owsley County, Cordia and Letcher County are all something less than top caliber? Yes, it's ordinarily easier for any team to win at home; however, JBS has won an equal number at home and away. 7 at Pippa Passes and 7 away. They've lost 1 at home and 2 away. Congratulations, Owsley County. This was obviously a very good game.
