Thanks to WYMT for video streaming this tournament. It was great! Congratulations to all the teams, especially to June Buchanan School, the champion. They defeated Bell County 59-58.

This was one of the best WYMT tourneys ever with a lot of close games and lots of action. Congrats to June Buchanan on the win and also to all the 80 kids that won academic scholarships for their hard work in the classroom.

This is a great tournament every year. It showcases the best teams in the mountains and raises a ton of money to help mountain kids go to college.

WYMT does alot to give Eastern Kentucky kids exposure. We should give these folks a pat on the back more often for the work they do to promote athletes and also help students receive scholarships. Thanks WYMT!!!

The only thing I didn't like was the way that Brian Milam talked up the other teams from out of the 14th region. He did say some good things, but he didn't have one good thing to say about Perry Central. Some of his great comments during the Bell game were, "They must have to many Amis's on the team", or "Don't think the refs can help them in this one"! I think he needs to remember that he does live and work in Perry County, and no matter if he doesn't like the school or not, he doesn't need to make comments like this during a ballgame. Especially since it was carried all over the world on the internet and also on television. Very non professional IMO.

Congrats to JBS on winning the tourney.I will say great job WYMT as I did not realize the most important thing which was how many scholarships were made available !

Are these games archived? I didnt get to watch any of them and was interested in the Pineville and Bell games.

Alot of people taped these games so maybe if you ask around you can find a copy. You may also call WYMT and buy a copy maybe...
