One thing I notice at Campbell is the size of the underclass and the middle school (saw once). There is some weight lifting going on and frame making. The prior Camel seniors and this year look like finalists on survivor. The 10th, come tournament time is a bang and play in the paint. Camel was never able to do that as a team and the only time they had success was on strong outside shooting. The up and comers seem to provide them a whole new look and for the better. I think it has to do with players playing other sports. Something that was taboo under Sullivan.

Blind faith is a strong shield and helps keep from looking at facts. That is OK. You are not the only one but it does explain the quotes you have made regarding recent Campbell coaches. As for unjustified I hate to say you are the one that is not aware of all the details. It is a matter of public record, that is, if you wish to look.

Well, at least that is one side of the story. Those weekend leagues and teams probably never made any money though.:sleep:

Just curious, who was in charge of the game programs. There was a fair amount of errors in player listings. Especially in the girls roster.

Time to move on. Both these guys did a better job than their predecessor and deserve respect and credit. Let's not keep bringing up the past and that goes to all the people in all the sports at Campbell. Many of us are bored by it and the students do not really care.

For the moment, Campbell County is down but will be better by spring. Next year, they may be very good. As for Mr. Reitz, what I do know of him I will take him any day of the week over what Campbell has had over the past 30 years!

The only fire is the ryle coaches who left campbell and was planning to leave before any coaching changes were made. That did not stop them from putting up a victim act. At least some veteran teachers see through their act. To the camels this is just the start. Look at the kids you have interested in playing at CCHS now, from the 3 grade on! You guys have started something and please keep it going!

And rumor is speakers are in the players helmets to hear all the details too. As a regular at Campbell County and reading this, I see posters starting to make things up. A flag last year? Better name the game because it didn't happen. As for LSURock as for junk in sports, great, look forward to not hearing any overboard rock propaganda, etc. at a home game! He makes a neat deal out of great plays after it is done. He cheers the touchdown and the first down, what is wrong with that. And if any posters have problems with it, start taking it to Ft. Thomas with the cannon, many places with the bell, some with fireworks and not to mention radio announcers who are guilty as sin. He points out the visiting team success with first down and POINTS OUT the Camel first down. If your team does not do that at your home game go talk to your lazy sports directors and make them do better.

This game was not close. Camels never punted one time. Camel QB in for whole game makes it even worse. SK had no answer for Griffin who may turn out to be the best in the area.

Anyone from Campbell show up at that game. I saw Newport super and principal and many others. Score may be different but so is the level of interest and support.

That is sad to hear. Students will be shortchanged and programs do not grow. Really disappointed to hear that. But I am curious, what do the board elections have to do with this position.

Score would not be this bad if Bourbon was not throwing the ball and having it intercepted. Not sure the number, but there were several with big returns that set up scores with runs inside the tackles.
