  1. Doubt it. Lets see if they schedule some teams to try and get ready next year. Play some of the big boys in the other regions.
  2. Vanderhoof hurt her leg again, early in the game. Did not return. Probably has a lot to do with only 23 points. She was at the boys game tonight. Was walking normally. Don't know how she is, basketball wise. 1 of her teammates said the knee popped when she got hurt.
  3. I know Martin got the player of the game for Raceland. He hit a 3 to send it to OT. Morgan County really slowed the game. Nice game by the Rams. Keeton hit some big FT's for Raceland also.
  4. What region is GRC in? Do they always play so rough?
  5. I think Martin is a senior too. Raceland has 7 or 8 seniors, according to the number of senior flags at the gym.
  6. She played. Rusty at first but overall good game. Lady Rams killed themselves at the line. Lost a 9 point lead in the 4th by missing free throws. They seem to be shooting them without using their legs, stiff arming them. #11 for Lewis is a SHOOTER. This young lady was hitting 25 footers.
  7. Mason 75 Elliott 59 Mason will handle the press and be able to contain Elliott.
  8. Wow, Rams handled again by Elliott. I think that when Ferguson doesnt have the ball , you have to try and deny it to him. If you let him catch it, he's going to hurt you with it. Put Sparks on Knipp, Boyles on Ferguson(try to deny) and zone the rest. May not work, but nothing else is working for the Rams against them.
  9. Fairview is not top 4. Raceland and Bath are both better.
  10. Nice win by the Rams. Boyles was on fire :fire: and Sparks scored at will on the inside when he wasnt in foul trouble. Raceland is starting to click. 15-7,with 2 of those losses to Elliott. Raceland needs to work on free throw shooting. Good called game overall. Would had liked to see some of those over the backs called on # 10 for Fairview. He should bring a saddle next time.
  11. I dont mean difference in makes. I mean if its called to where Raceland is getting called for fouls when Hall goes into the lane. He pushes off a lot and draws fouls on the opponent. Like Reggie Miller did in the NBA.
  12. If Fairview doesnt shoot a bunch of free throws , Raceland wins.
  13. Ashland has lost 7 of their last 10 and everyone still ranks them too high.
  14. ok 15 Russell 16 Menifee
  15. 1.Elliott- 1 loss while shooting so horribly (still came close) 2.Bath- better (team) than RH 3.Rose Hill- can't deny after this week 4.East- don't know why(guess because everyone thinks so, but who have they beaten) 5.Raceland- Sparks and Boyles are good combo 6.West- always tough at home 7.Boyd- playing better and has a nice big man 8.Ashland- Thomas makes them a hard out 9.Fairview- go as the guards go, need a tight called game where guards sink it at the line 10.Rowan- led by another quality big man 11.Morgan- coached by one of the best in region 12.Lewis- better than record, another tough out at home 13.Fleming- I really dont know a lot about them 14.Greenup- can still beat the bottom 2 teams 15&16- tie between Russell and Menifee. Not sure who would win, Russell losing Ferguson hurts. Just my own thoughts.
  16. Ferguson is the straw that stirs Elliott. If he's not on they are not going to win. The twins are good, but without Ferguson, Elliott is not nearly as good. He was hitting everything against Raceland.
  17. This was the first time I saw Elliott this year. They are for real. Everyone shoots it so well. Also, showed class today, they could had won by 50. Starters didnt play much of the 4th.
  18. She'll still be out for a while. Maybe a slight tear of the MCL. They dont know for sure yet.
  19. Ferguson was on fire. He is a stud player. :flame: :fire:
  20. Lady rams held tough in first half. Lewis had a great game for Rams. Elliott started dropping the 3's in the 3rd quarter and put the game away. Raceland couldnt use their height advantage because Keeton was in foul trouble all day. They would just jump into her and a foul was called. Her 5th foul was probably the only one she earned.
  21. Vanderhoof is the best when healthy. She carries her team. I think raceland wins region last year if she doesnt get hurt.
  22. I would like to see this. Elliotts press is not as effective if the hand checks are called. Rams would have a chance then.
  23. They wont lose conditioning by not playing the 4th quarter. You build conditioning in practice.
  24. Is Shelby Valley a single A?
  25. After talking to one of her team mates, I was told she sprained her knee. Will be out a while , but no tear.
