Been involved in a few of these types of games. Once the snowball starts rolling all you can do sometimes as a coach is sit back and watch it because no matter how hard you try you can't seem to stop it (see UK vs Vandy). I know Coach Trimble will keep this game in perspective.

 

Heard that Vanderhoof got hurt again last night. Our hope for her is it was nothing serious. She has endured enough. As a parent, it is hard to sit and watch a kid go through this much without being affected by it. My sincerest thoughts and well wishes are with her and her family.

Thats one to forget ! Regroup and move on. GRC maybe should have called them off ? or did they ?

With the exception of the 11th region, probably the toughest district!!! Should be some great games in the 40th district!!! All teams in the 40th seem to be coming together at the right time of year.

:thumb: Those were my thoughts. As I said earlier, the Lady Rams just have to forget this one all together and "not let this (GRC game)" beat them in the next ones.

Also, should anyone have any information on Raceland's R. Vanderhoof (if she was injured and how serious) any updates would be appreciated.

We are in the 10th region and 40th district with Montgomety Co, Bourbon Co and Paris. Here in the 10th region the officials let you play more agressive than in the 16th.

Holding a good Raceland team to 23pts. is unbelievable. GRC is either a much better team than I realized or the Lady Rams just played real bad.

Somebody let us know about arguably, the best player in the 16th, Vanderhoof....

Vanderhoof hurt her leg again, early in the game. Did not return. Probably has a lot to do with only 23 points. She was at the boys game tonight. Was walking normally. Don't know how she is, basketball wise. 1 of her teammates said the knee popped when she got hurt.
