  1. Hey 16th62nd. I'm guessing you are an East fan. You play the same teams. I didnt see your team throw a no hitter against them.
  2. Raceland's Josh Miller throws a no hitter for Rams. Rams improve to 13-7 with the win. They played mostly their younger players in this one. They were led in hitting by Shawn Deskins who was 3-4 with a triple and double. Rams also get multiply hits from Josh Wilson and Nate Reynolds and have 12 for the game. This is Raceland's second no hitter in as many days. Good job boys. :ylsuper:
  3. Nate Reynolds pitches a complete game 3 hitter for Rams. Rams get 12 hits in the game , led by Morris who had 3. Rams improve to 12-7.
  4. Raceland pitcher Blake Morris threw a no hitter tonight. Morris struck out 9 and walked 0. The only base runner for Lewis was a hit batsman. Rams improve to 11-7 on the year.
  5. Rams travel to Paintsville and get the win. Raceland's Scoot Grizzle pitched a 2 hitter. Raceland collected 11 hits including 3 by Tolliver and 2 each from Miller,Darby ,and Phillips. Also Racelands Darby got his 2nd homer of the season. Grizzle struck out 7 Tigers and only walked 1 in the shutout. Rams are slowly getting it together. :dancingpa
  6. Nice pitching dual tonight. Nathan Reynolds for Raceland and Drew Taylor for Russell. Reynolds struck out 7, walking 1 and only allowed 4 hits for the win. Taylor struck out 5 , walked 2 and gave up 7 hits in the loss. Reynolds kept the Devils off balance all night. Both Devil runs were unearned. Raceland was down 2-1 going into the bottom of the 7th. Morris led off with a hit and was sacrificed over. The throw went into the outfield putting runners on 2nd and 3rd. After Phillips was hit by pitch and a Raceland fielders choice, Raceland had bases loaded and 1 out. Scott Grizzle lined the first pitch into left center to plate the 2 winning runs. Nice win Rams. :dancingpa
  7. Raceland's Scott Grizzle pitched a 1 hitter for the win. Grizzle struck out 8 and only walked 1 for the game. Rams were led in hitting by Blake Morris (4-4) and Shawn Deskins (3-3). Strong outing for the Rams in a game that they needed a win in. :dancingpa
  8. There is 1 LOB. If it had been a Dp, then 0 LOB. The FC is an AB, if the out had been made to 1st, still 1 LOB.
  9. The first one is right. There is 1 LOB because the fielders choice at second was the third out. The hitter D is LOB at first.
  10. First round of 16th All A was a dandy. Rams jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on Kory Darby's 3 run homer in the first. Fairview got 1 back in the 5th , the Rams added another for a 4-1 lead to the 6th. Fairviews Cory Clark gets a 1 out homer to cut it to 4-2 in the 6th. Raceland then committed an error and hit a batter to open the flood gates for 3 uneraned runs and a Fairview lead. Raceland's Josh Miller gets a double in the top of the 7th and comes in on Martins RBI single to send the game to extras. Neither team scored until Fairviews Bayless led off the 11th with a long home run. Fairview added another unearned run in the 11th to set the score at 7-5. Great game to sit and watch and one that you hate seeing either team lose. Fairviews Cory Clark pitched 9 innings(143 pitches) and gets relief from Rice. Side note: Raceland's Thomas Tolliver broke the KHSAA career stolen base record tonight with a first inning steal (140). rams got 3 hits from Miller and 3 from Darby, while Fairview had multiply hits from Clark,Howard, and Thompson.
  11. That is what i meant.
  12. Good game. Rams hit the ball, but Devils played good defense. Raceland has been flat since their return from Florida. Darby is now back in the lineup and Phillips got released to start to playing too. Rams will turn it around.
  13. Rams commit 7 errors and allowed 5 unearned runs. Both teams had 5 hits. Williams pitched good for Ashland for the win. Don't understand them keeping him on the mound as long as they did in the cold. He threw 96 pitches. They are in trouble if they hurt his arm.
  14. I know where I'd like to see him.
  15. Come on, they was calling traveling on Russell nearly every time also. officials didnt help Devils.
  16. Wireman, you must be kidding, count the fouls.
  17. No, not at all. Coach Ramsey is a very good coach. The boys loved him.
  18. HaHA...... Congrats to Devils, I would like to know how free throws Elliott missed tonight. I don't think the striped shirts was helping Russell. Elliott lived at the line. If they shoot better there, they win.:fire: :fire:
  19. Raceland now has a pitching coach. Getting close to Florida, long trip, but get in some games in the warm sunshine.
  20. Looks like Fairview overlooked Russell somehow. Congrats to Devils.
  21. Elliott beat Raceland for championship 56-51. Rose Hill was in it this year.
  22. A good coach will build his season around the strengths of his current team, not try to change a player or players to fit the coaches system. He has to show that he has confidence in his players or the players will lack confidence.
  23. Williams is good. But the best? Maybe. Boyd has some nice pitching.
  24. It's Fraley , hands down. He's done a lot with such a young team. He's an intense coach who gets the kids to put it all on the line. Coaches are suppose to build their players confidence. If a coach doesn't have confidence in a player, how is the player going to have confidence in himself. Can't wait to coach Fraley take his team to bigger things in the future.
