Time to pull this one back up....I finally got around to starting this one over the weekend. Watched the 1st two episodes. It's alright so far. Intriguing enough to keep watching, but not as fantastic as many have made it out to be. Season 2 starts Friday the 27th. Was hoping to get through season 1 by then, but looks like I'm going to fail on that.

I think you have to let him out. The fact that they withheld that surveillance footage is disgusting. That footage is the very definition of reasonable doubt IMO. Not too mention that there is no concrete evidence connecting him to the crime in any way.

This. It already kills me to dish out $30 a month for a stupid phone. No chance I'd ever consider paying more.

That sucks. I had DirecTV for roughly 5 years and was always given phenomenal customer service. They even made the cutting the cord process simple.

Was there a recent software update? It seems when the older phones will run a lot of the new software updates but it usually zaps the battery pretty quickly. Think it's part of Apple's ploy to try and get you to buy the new phone.

Lie detector tests are incredibly unreliable. I'd be interested to know what questions the test showed he lied on.

If 8 family members had just been executed and I found a tracking device on my car you can be damn sure I'm destroying that thing without hesitation. Ridiculous to arrest him for that IMO.

Was it ever confirmed that that guy was 100% the guy that did this? I'd be shocked if it wasn't him, but just wasn't sure if they were ever able to confirm that..

I THINK they are crazy. Doesn't mean they are, means that in my opinion they are. People that believe in alien abductions are crazy IMO. Doesn't mean they aren't intelligent, doesn't mean they aren't nice or good people. Just means I think they have some far out there, crazy ideas/opinions. I'm quite confident some people think some of my opinons/views are out there or crazy. I'm cool with that.

That's why I said "as of present". Very aware that may change. That's our plan for right now though.

I don't think that has much to do with it. All my friends own homes. Not a one has a landline. My parents and both my wife's mom and dad all have landlines. Think it's much more an age thing than a home owner thing. I do agree that very few apartment renters probably have landlines though.

I'd be interested in a breakdown of those that have one vs. don't. I'd imagine the vast majority of those that do are over 40.

1) What would me having a landline have to do with an emergency situation if they were at a friend's or relatives house? 2) Once they're old enough to stay home alone, there will be some sort of phone (probably a pre-paid with minimal minutes) for emergencies, but wife and I are in agreement as of present that no cell phones until they start driving. Another thing I'll add....Having a home security system makes the need for a landline even less pressing. One push of a button and EMT, Fire, or Police are on their way.

This. Haven't done it often, but every single time, the 1st thing they ask is, "where are you located?"
