He's not. I was using Fangraphs analysis. It takes the past 3 seasons for each player and uses that to analyze players. Realmuto is #1. Tucker comes in at #15. I'll find the link.
Stings worse IMO. You win last night and Saturday and they're in the driver's seat for a #1 seed. Now their ceiling is a 2 seed, if they can beat UT twice.
You just can't lose games to inferior opponents on your home court. Just can't do it.
Cal picks a couple players each year that he refuses to allow to play through a mistake or a missed opportunity.
Then he has other guys, like Travis and Hagans, that he allows to make mistake after mistake without repercussion.
Agreed. There is no excuse to only playing Richards 3 minutes. Cal keeps blabbering that they need him to reach their full potential, but he refuses to give him any chances to contribute. It's near impossible to do anything when you get yanked for every tiny mistake. Zero chance I stick around if I'm Richards. I'd probably already have bolted honestly.
They remind of that team that looks completely discombobulated all season long yet has a gaudy record and gets a 3-4 seed in the tournament. Then they go out and get worked by a 13-14 seed.
Ashton Hagans has regressed majorly the last handful of games. Dude just isn't there right now.
Can't lose that game. Inexcusable to get out-hustled and out-efforted in your own gym.
There's some really talented dudes in the AAF. Denard Robinson, Trent Richardson, Matt Asiata, Aaron Murray, etc.
Dude's that didn't really pan out in the pros, but these guys were studs at the college level.
They're #3 in offensive efficiency, but #40 in defensive. Was a little surprised to see how low they were on defense.
The only outlier going back all the way to 2002 was the 2014 UConn team. They were #10 defensively, but #39 offensively.
The National Champion will be a team that is top 20 in both offensive and defensive efficiency.
That being said the National Champion will come from the below group:
Duke
Gonzaga
Virginia
Kentucky
Michigan State
Virginia Tech
Agree? Anyone not listed have a shot?
We'll have to agree to disagree. The committee member said Saturday that Kansas can still play in KC without being the #1 seed there, so no reason to think Kentucky couldn't do the same in Louisville.
I lean AAF teams. Most of these guys are practice squad level players for the NFL. Which means they're very good college players, who just quite aren't NFL caliber. Clemson has a bunch of NFL dudes on their roster, but they also have a bunch of non-NFL dudes.
The only 2 good teams LSU played OOC ended in losses for the Tigers. They've pretty much played no one. They have a 4 point road win at Mississippi State. That's the extent of their resume.
Kentucky 73
LSU 57
