Dude every post in these threads is whining and complaining about something. It’s the same thing from the same posters in UK threads, in Bengals threads, etc. It’s tiresome. And yeah I’d love the Reds to win, but dude it’s baseball. It’s entertainment, it ain’t worth getting that worked up over. Way more important things to worry about.

Can we change these Reds thread titles to “Whine and Complain About the Reds vs. XYZ Series” because that’s all that goes on in these things. Good Lord people.

Juzang decides Friday, Kentucky should be the pick. Evan Daniels made his crystal ball prediction today for Jaden McDaniels to Kentucky. I think Cal ends up getting both AND Kerry Blackshear. Just a hunch.

With the way he’s pitching, he probably shouldn’t be brought in to a game regardless of situation.

Just a quick factual note about Joey Votto and his “bad” year last year....Joey had a WAR of 3.5 last season. In MLB the accepted value of 1 WAR is $8MM. That means Joey was worth $28MM last year, which means his $25MM salary was actually still a bargain for the Reds.

Never a doubt that Senzel would be in the lineup. You don’t bring a guy of his stature up and not stick him in the lineup every day.

Have seen lots of rumblings that Kentucky is in a much better position to landing Jaden McDaniels than what everyone is saying. Add him and Juzang and they’ve got themselves one heck of a roster again for next season.

Ehh, I think eliminating it is unnecessary. If you watch the superstars, they typically don’t get shifted on because they can deliver to all fields. More players need to learn to hit the ball the other way IMO.

Umpire Marty Foster missed more than 25% of balls/strikes today according to the Umpire Auditor. That’s absurdly bad.

The most important aspect of a major league hitter is their ability to not make outs. You only get 27 of them a game. Joey Votto has excelled at that at a historic rate throughout his career. HRs, RBIs, etc., I hear those stats thrown around and I immediately think the two most irrelevant stats in the game. :idunno:

The graphic isn’t “close” to what the strike zone is, it is precisely what the strike zone is. Makes no sense to not take an easy step to improve the game drastically IMO.

Miller is slimy as all get out. Somehow Arizona continues to turn a blind eye towards his actions even though he’s not good enough to lead them to a Final Four. Dude should’ve been fired long ago.

Home plate umpire needs to face disciplinary actions from MLB. Inexcusable for a major league umpire to miss that many blatant ball/strike calls. Most of those called strikes weren’t even close to the zone.

Barely a month into the season and the usual suspects have already made Reds threads unbearable this year. Shame we can’t have solid Reds discussions here anymore.

Saw it today. A bit predictable I thought, but still an awesome movie.

I’ll say this....through the first two games of the series, every call seems to be going the Warriors way. I’m no fan of Harden’s antics but I wish the officials would stop treating GS like a God and actually call games properly that they’re involved in.
