More or less. NKY is perfectly content to function as their own little "state", and the rest of KY is more than happy to let them. Maybe it's the same in other states as well, but the drastic differences in mannerisms, dialect, etc. from those in Kenton, Boone, and Campbell to the rest of the state is pretty crazy IMO.

Agreed. Most of the state considers NKY as more a part of Cincinnati than KY, and being from NKY, I am 100% okay with that. We (people from NKY) are nothing like the rest of the state, and are much more similar to the Cincy/Southern Ohio areas. I always tell people "Cincinnati or just south of Cincinnati" when they ask where I'm from.

I say yes. Of course, I feel there's a bias against NKY from the rest of the state in general, not just basketball or sports.

I have not. Have heard they're already closing. A couple friends stopped in there once and said it was like walking into an oversized ash tray. Reeked of smoke for 3 days after.

I'll ask the girl I know that works there if she's heard anything of that nature, but like I said, if that's his motive, it isn't working. :lol2:

Absurd. Every time I've been there the crowd has been very diverse. Same guy owns Bakersfield, which also attracts a diverse crowd.

I don't disagree, however, if you're looking at it from purely a better job standpoint, CovCath is the better position. I'm a Brossart alum, so it pains me to say that, but it's the reality.

If he left, I wonder if Code from Brossart would be considered?....Solid coach, and he and Rowe have worked together previously.

There would be at least a dozen intentional fouls called each game if the rules were enforced like this. Down 2 with 10 seconds to go, other team has the ball....Can't foul, because by your logic it's an intentional, thus 2 and the ball.

No dog at all in this fight, but watching the replay, that clearly looks like a defensive foul.

Depending how bad the weather gets (if it does anything), I may try to make it up there. Was planning on going to the Scott Brossart game, but now that that's cancelled, got nothing else to do. :idunno:

I guarantee there would be one. That's the whole purpose of cancelling events and school. They don't want the liability if someone gets hurt trying to make it there because it wasn't cancelled.

And if, heaven forbid, a student gets injured or worse trying to get to or from the game? That check will be chump change next to the lawsuit they'll be staring at.

Way under IMO.

I'm shocked these schools are willing to take the liability risk by playing these games.
