Hard earned victory for PC. Douglass was very scrappy and keeps players coming at you from the bench in waves. They held Allen to 21. Yelton picked up the slack with 20 and Antrobus was an absolute beast on the boards. Walsh played his usual consistent and efficient game. Nice move by Coach Belcher to go to the 2-3 zone in the final minutes to shut down FD's penetration to the basket. St. Henry is next on the PC schedule. .. Yelton picked

The score would not indicate it, but there was a lot of defense on both ends of the floor. When you play these two teams you better be able to take care of the ball.

I would love to see this game but it is a bit too far from home. Saw KC against Cordia early in the season and was very impressed. Hope to see Corbin tomorrow at East Jessamine. Going to the Scott-Campbell County game tonight. It also should be a dandy.

Dontaie Allen's best move last night was before the game. Upon being presented a basketball for reaching the 2,000 points level for his career, he took the ball into the stands, gave it to his mother, and gave her a hug. Once heard a college coach discussing recruiting. He said one of the first things he tried to determine was how the young athlete treated his mother. The coach said that was all he needed to determine the character of the young man. Congrats Dontaie. You shine in that department as well.

Hard to say that Jacob would have gotten PC over the top against Corbin. The lay off for Jacob was evident, but with no further injuries or illnesses PC should be fine. The offense seems to flow much better with Yelton in the lineup. PC does need to reduce the number of turnovers and silly fouls.

They still have a nice team and very young. The future looks good.

Allen was two rebounds short of a triple double. He was 12 of 14 from the free throw line.Antrobus had a double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Walsh shot 71.4% in getting his 23 points and had 6 rebounds. Neltner was 6 of 9 from the field.

Was told tonight it was a charter school. No mention was made about their curriculum. They have a nice defensive team and their offense was better today than yesterday.

Gutty effort by Pendleton especially Allen who played even though he was ill.

Except for a couple of times of indecision and one forced play the Wildcats' offense was hitting on all cylinders. The team again shared the ball and moved the ball so well. They are so fun to watch. On a side note , it was nice to view the game with mcpapa. Hope to do so again soon.
