  1. All I can say is the Spirit that will not die, looked like it was on life support on Saturday!
  2. http://fieldsnotes.bloginky.com/2009/10/18/cantralls-football-ratings/ I dont think I've ever seen more 4-4 teams in the top 25, including the #2 team? In the words of the MNF pregrame crew(Jackson, Carter, Johnson, Ditka, and Berman).....c'mon man!!!
  3. This isnt the first team that has had this problem against Highlands. The list keeps growing every week! GO BIRDS!
  4. Finally got some chores done and now have time to post. The only reason the Colonels had a reason to smile after the first quarter is because the Bluebirds were gift wrapping early Christmas presents. Actually the first fumble was hand delivered by the referee. He was clearly down. After the Birds got going there was NO chance that the Colonels would have a say in the final. If those 2 turnovers in the first quarter would have been punched in I would have been home before now! The Colonels did how ever look better than they have. But way too much for them to handle today!
  5. Coach Deaton and his boys should celebrate!
  6. Nice job Bulldogs! Who played well for the dogs?
  7. No way Cov Cath is Top 25 material.
  8. Correct. The soft cup is much deeper than any of the hard cup chin straps. The best hard cup chin strap, in my opinion, is made by Adams with the "D" ring on the sides,
  9. What kind of stats does Ricky Buckler have?
  10. It has to do with the chinstraps. Players dont wear them as tight as they should, also players are wearing "chin skins" which are coverings for the chinstrap with the players favorite logo on them. Between that and the sweat its making for a dangerous situation. If people are having trouble with chinstraps, they should look into a 6 point chinstrap. These are the top of the line, especially in a situation where the straps are sliding.
  11. That's a bold statement!
  12. Nothing legit about it. There is no way that I would ever consider my original statement to be true. It isnt possible. Could you imagine if the Birds would have been as gassed up last night as they were for X? HHS scored 52 with the back up QB. Now to the game! Good job Birds! Keep up the good work!
  13. How did Dixie score 9? If Cincy St. X only scored 7 against the Birds.....Is Dixie better than X? :sssh:
  14. Holmes plays great defense. FC scored both their TD's right after the half. Seems like Holmes coaching staff knew what to do and knew the FC weaknesses. Keep it rolling Bulldogs!
  15. Playing well, holding their own.
  16. Best post of the night...by far! People want something for nothing. That's not the case in Fort Thomas. The reason people are so in love with Highlands is because its so community driven. As goes with anything, people that build something like to show it off, and be told that they did a good job.
  17. You got a point....But the Superbowl Ring he totes aint too shabby! :thumb:
  18. Why don't you like the Birds? :idunno:
  19. LLoyd and Bellevue. Another step moving forward for the Bulldogs. Coach Lickert does a great job with these kids!
  20. Nice win for the Bulldogs. Apparently it was 40 to 0 before Coach Lickert pulled his starters early in the 3rd quarter.
  21. It's for the kids! They enjoyed it. It wasn't intended for the adults that are living vicariously through the students...
  22. Could that be the big train that passes the SGDB???
