Any word on this game being played at HHS tonight?

I was not there but someone told me it was 30-6 in favor of the baby birds!

36-6 Birds won.

Anybody know how the 2 Highland 8th graders are doing??

Playing well, holding their own.

I thought the team played good tonight considering we had a few guys out with injuries and illness.

Was that the ole CSHS81 at the game? Could have sworn I saw him. Sound like the Birds rolled in this one. How many did they actually dress? What about Conner? Were there many illnesses?

14-6 at the half, but Highlands, even missing several freshman due to flu bug, just wore down Conner. Conner left with several players banged up ,limping and dizzy, and they play next game Wed , so quicker turnaround.

Highlands is just physically tough!

 

Impressed with #14 Christian from Highlands at WR and DE - big boy who runs routes well and dominates the stop of the sweep and option on D.

 

Conner lone TD on another long run from Foegle, who is the only true RB Conner has who can score. Conner frosh seem to have abandoned the spread offense - possibly due to injuries? Last two games they have not thrown nearly as much as they did in games 1-2.

 

#10 for Conner (Lowery) had a decent game on D until he was injured early in 4th Q - in 3Q, his name was called seven straight plays for the tackle.

 

QB for Highlands did a great job of leading his team (and they did not have Collinsworth on the field)......

 

I rambled a littile, but my review of the game........

I noticed on the pictures of the seniors that they were holding jerseys for #21 and #33.

 

While I don't remember #21's name I do remember the news of his death.
