That would be my selection. Although yesterday in the Cooper vs. Highlands game Arnsparger suffered a concussion from a fouled tip baseball. Reports are he is doing fine and home resting. He DID try to finish the game by the way!

Yes something is fishy about the hits. 1,165 really? If they play thirty games a year times 4 years = 120 games. That's 9.75 hits a game....

They played the 7 and 8 rated teams from the state of Tenn. Lost the first game 10-0 lost the second game 8-7. They'll return home today and play at Scott @ 5PM.

I heard it got pushed back to 1 because of the ACT on Saturday morning.

I liked the way Highlands found a way to get it done. When things arent going the way they need to be its nice to be able to find a way to get a win against a solid Bellevue team. Hopefully this will cause a little mo' for the Birds as the season gets rolling!!

Hopefully Highland Park can look like it did yesterday all year. The people there showed great interest in baseball. The feeling the kids had to have was priceless. It was perfect atmosphere. You could really tell that the people involved in the game were there because of the vested interest in the sport. I bet the people there were the ones that let their voices be heard in getting Coach Baioni to run the program! Great hire ladies and gentlemen!!!

That's great that they were in attendance. There were also a BIG group of former players there to support the current guys....That's what it is all about!!!

A courtesy runner is just that. They are not entered into the game and can be used at any time. The Courtesy Runner can be different as well.

That's great that they can support both sports! Hopefully there can be more fans like them!!!
