Oscar Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Not to take anything away from BC as I'm sure this was well earned, and a good game for them after the loss to NCC, but I am not too shocked by the score. It seems that after Head and Sainola pitching the past couple of days, there is a drop off on the pitching rotation...I think if BC faced Head or Sainola it'd be a different game. They might still win in good fashion but maybe a bit closer.
NamecipS Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Anything else about the game at all? The 'Birds can't seem to generate any offense. They're struggling at the plate. Defense had some issues yesterday too. Misplayed a few balls that should've resulted in outs and instead extended the inning, which allowed a few runs to score that probably shouldn't have. It's early in the season, I think after they get a few more games under their belt, they'll be fine.

I know Trevor personally as he worked for/with me this past summer and I'm hoping he is performing at a high level.

Yeah either Baioni was sending a message to those three Seniors or he is making sure he keeps peace in the family and is giving equal playing time. I personally am not afraid of hurting feelings or keeping people happy at the Varsity HS level. Its all about Wins and putting your very best product on the field at all times, period end of sentence. Who knows, maybe thats what the Coach was thinking also.
