Beechwood JV: 15-1 Beechwood Frosh: 15-4 Beechwood 8th Grade: 27-0 This isn't your dad's Beechwood Basketball Program anymore. The Tigers should be pretty good over the next few years if all the kids keep playing..

Totally different team for Beechwood than the last few years. The bulk of the playing time is being played by four very good 8th graders.

Beechwood started 4 eighth graders last night. The Tigers have had a few players quit the team also..

Highlands had a hard time solving the Tigers press. Was surprised that Salter didn't do much for the Birds. Nice win for the Tigers.. I think Beechwood is 15-4 on the year...

Beechwood 8th remains undefeated with an easy win against Summit View... Will Downton with a big game. The Tigers are now 27-0..

Who won the frosh and JV games?

He made a nice jump in velocity from HS ball thru the Fall from what I hear..

I think Trey has a big upside. Congrats to Trey!!

In the ninth region I don't think it is even close. Jeremy Baioni is by far the best coach in NKy period. Wasn't he the state coach of the year two years ago? He has turned around a horrible baseball program at Highlands to be one of the best year in and year out. Jeremy is passionate and is always learning how to make his kids better. Trust me Jeremy wasn't chosen to help coach the KY Team in the Futures Games for no reason. The guy flat out gets it done!!

Final..

Newport will win their district imo.. If they can shoot like they did last night and play with high energy they will be a tough out.. I was really impressed with the Wildcats last night..

Is CC that good or is the 10th just that bad?

Did Traylor not play? Highlands isn't going to beat anyone when Traylor doesn't score and Posey gets you 2pts..

That is definetly a bad loss for the Tigers!! I didn't expect that at all..

7- Nicholas Co. 5- Mason Co. 3- Villa Madonna 2- NCC 1- Newport TB: Mason Co.

Highlands 7th beat Ockerman in OT of the finals of the TF Tournament to end their unbeaten streak..

Yeah I guess the talent level made Dale retire from being a teacher and AD also.. Talent level had zero to do with why Dale retired.

Yes...21-0

He had a seizure condition..

A good HS team should not spaz out when they get pressed. Highlands problem is they have very few good ball handlers.

Beechwood 8th beat Turkeyfoot in the winners bracket final tonight. Now whoever comes out of the losers bracket will have to beat Beechwood twice to win the tournament. Will Downton had a really nice game with 21pts for the Tigers.

No..he plays no frosh ball.

Birds have a hard time handling pressure.....Shocker!!

I heard Turkeyfoot 8th beat Camp Ernst in the other semi. So it will be Beechwood vs Turkeyfoot in the winners bracket final Thursday night @ 7:15..

I know Beechwood 6th beat Conner last week in the Dayton Tournament.
