I heard at the game tonight that Dean and Morris from Madison Central are being recruited by Marshall U. Morris is 6'6 and a junior, played very well. Dean I think is a senior and dominated in the paint. Officiating tonight.... nevermind.:scared: By the way Ashland just keeps getting gooder and gooder. They be right there in the end I'm afraid. Boyd beat Rowan by 11 points tonight and played well also.

Pretty uneventful IMO. A few walking no calls, player control, etc.. Seemed even to me. I think the overall officiating for the tourney has been solid. I think they have let them play pretty physical, which I think is a good thing. Ticky tack fouls drive me crazy, and as close as I am I could walk. Dickie Martin was complaining? Surely ye jest.

I'm applauding too. I respect a coach who makes the rules and apparently enforces them. Kudos to the Russell coach.:thumb:

He played year before last and was a force already. Last year, I heard he missed too many practices or something to that effect. He's a legitimate D1 prospect on the field IMO.

Russell got hammered. Vanoose and Blair set out for disciplinary reasons.

Good game for the Tomcats. They shot the lights out from behind the arc. Not sure of the stats but they made way over 50%. Boyd played hard and came up short. Should be a fun postseason.

Boyd played awful tonight. Deserved to lose. Somehow found a way to win. They didn't quit,, but if Highlands shoots anywhere near 50% they win by 20. Boyd better lace'em up tight tomorrow night, as Ashland will be a test. Ashland looked great for 3 quarters tonight IMO.

Boyd played well,, Elliott took care of the ball. Not many turnovers at all. Selby was on the bench with 2 quick fouls all but 3 minutes of the 1st half.

I agree. C.D. Mayhew really had a big game tonight. They play alot better with him running the point. He has really gotten his game together. After watching B.C. tonight they look like a better team than last year. Blanton and Selbee were tough as well. Selbee is a man among boys.
