Right on! this is a terrible fix, the KHSAA has done this to shut up the complainers who are fed up with losing all of the time. A heads up: they lose for some very good reasons. I`ll leave that up to everyone to figure out. What a shame!!

All the reason in the world for the young man to give 110% on every play, work his tail off in the weight room, keep learning his position every day, keep holding his head high etc. If he wins! he could be very proud of his accomplishments!!! Doug Beaumont from Male had a big night, he could have racked up over 300 yards last night if he stayed in all game. From what I hear, Doug had over 160 yards and 3 TDS.?? I s that correct? It appears that he has the leg up after the 1st game, but so many more games to go! Victor Anderson did not play the whole 2nd half and I heard that he had 60 yrds. on 13-14 carries? the soph. running back on st.x had a better showing.

Am I correct? didn`t Brentwood Academy get suspended about 4 years ago from Tn. Playoffs for 3-4 years? what was the history to that?

As the weather or heat is concerned, it sure would have been nice to have those big fans on our players side of the field as well! man it was hot & humid last year.:walk: Have a safe trip down to St. Matthews next Saturday.:thumb:

I agree! it is not fair to either football programs, the players, the fans etc.. Its hard enough to schedule games ahead of time and then have the other pull the plug 5 days before the scheduled game. You can`t grow your players on field and game time playing experience without having games to play. But when it is all over, what about the players from both teams. That is not just right, I can`t think of a good enough reason for Boone to cancel. Is it not about the Kids??

Mine was close, I predicted st. x in a very low scoring, penality infected game. Typical 1 st game of the season for both teams, I did not predict so many turnovers though.

Well it looks like some competition between the QB and running back positions?

St. X had alot of penalities that kept a team without their starting QB in the game. It appears that the St. X boys will have a tough week of practice!! Congrats. on the win !!! :thumb: It looks like Bowling Green has gotten up over the last 2 years to play st.x. Is Bowling Green a 4A or 3A Team? what was the score last year?
