No she did not. 9th grader Kary’s Black pitched for Boone Co. Highlands Pitched 7th grader Kennedy Baioni and gave 8th grader Gracie Schlosser the Game off. I know 10-9 is a lot of runs but who’s to say that Both teams aren’t very good Hitting teams. With the youth movement on the mound it appears Highlands is going to be around for a little while. Highlands only Starts One Sr & Two JR’s....

I ran into him at the Highlands vs Conner Girls game a few weeks back and when I asked him if he was Interested in Coaching again he winked at me and said I would like to take a stab at the Holmes job. I said nothing like going back home and he quickly responded by saying I'm at home in Ft Thomas too.:thumb: Brad is one of the good guys out there..... Good luck my Brother!

Game recap... Fort Thomas Matters Sports: Highlands Starts Season with Win

The Ladybirds scored Early & Often in this Contest. Great way to start off the Season.

The Game originally scheduled to be played at Brossart has been moved the “Birdcage” in Ft Thomas today. Varsity game will be at 5 p.m. with the JV to follow. “Let’s play Ball”

The Boone Co Rebels traveled to Ft Thomas tonight to take on the Ladybirds. Senior Olivia Jackson started for Boone Co and 8th grader Gracie Schlosser threw for the Birds. Boone Co plated 1 in the top of the 1st and HHS went scoreless. However in the 2nd the Birds tied the Score and then took the Lead with a 2 Run Johnson by Soph Taylar Lorenzen. Form there the Birds never looked back by scoring 3 more runs in the 3rd and another one in the 5th. Boone managed to score their other lone run in the 3rd. Boone’s Karys Black took over for Jackson in the 4th & 5th While Highlands inserted 7th grader Kennedy Baioni who threw 2 scoreless innings. Both squads JV teams pretty much took over from there and finished the 6th & 7th innings with Boone scoring 4 and HHS scoring 3. What a great way to kick off the 2018 season! Both teams have a ton of work to do but it was nice to finally see some other Pitching outside of Practice. HHS opens at home this coming Tues against 10th region top dog Campbell Co.

Yes it is True! We are in need of a Freshman Coach. Unfortunately the Gentleman that was going to Coach decided he couldn’t pull it off, and stepped away from the Position just a few days ago....

I don’t like posting stuff if I don’t know to be 100% True so I guess I should of worded a little differently. Someone mentioned that Kevin Siple & Ken Morgan have both Applied. Anyone else?

I saw the Kid do a Workout a couple of weeks ago up at Highlands. Wow! I'm no Scout but I highly doubt he even goes to School! SPECIAL ATHLETE

I don't remember HHS playing CCH! When did they play? I was talking to one of the HHS coaches yesterday and he predicted a 42-39 HHS win. He wasn't too far off was he?

Does anybody have a list of Applicants up to this point....I have heard of a few! Anyone?

Yeah it's not doing out 7th/8th graders any good not providing them with Quality outside Competition rather than play each other 4 times in our own League! We're pretty excited to be part of the Norseman Conference.

At Highlands Scott Druad #13 Jamie Walz #21 Ms Basketball & Parade All American. Finished with 4948 points in her career. Derek Smith #35 Mr. Basketball Runner-Up Jared Lorenzen #34 (Mr. Football) Ross Neltner #45 Mr. Basketball Tara Boothe #33 McDonalds All American Some Jersey numbers are still worn in Basketball. Highlands Football has only Two retired that I'm aware of and both of them don't get worn. Pretty sure but not Positive!
