I have only seen a few of them so far this year but I'm a homer and have to put Highlands Soph Sam Vinson towards the Top of the List....IMO! He is silky smooth with Ball and does an unbelievable job of seeing the Floor. He can also knock down the open 3 too. He's going to be a good one!

Explain Highlands @ Harlam Co when they played in Quagmire conditions back in 2010? The game was at then Old Cawood Stadium. Yes field could play into the Factor......I guess! That Black Bear Team was even coached by someone who beat Mueller once before and beat him bad. 2002 @ Rockcastle Co. It comes down to Coaching & systems. CCH rolls!

Yes I remember when a Undefeated Letcher County Central came to Ft Thomas a few years back. They were Huge on the Line! Highlands steam rolled them because of their Speed and Quickness. I see a repeat of that tonight. Pulaski Co. players and fans are going to see what the Best of the Best looks like tonight from NKY!

Yeah this years JR. Class was about as good as it gets when they were 8th & again as Frosh! IMO....Maybe they have help on the way but it doesn’t always translates to Success. We shall see!

I was standing at the spot in the End Zone where Highlands completed that OT Touchdown. The pass literally went through Two Ryle Defenders spaced about 4-5 yards apart and then was caught by the Highlands Receiver. I have never seen that before. I couldn't believe it wasn't at least knocked down. It was crazy! Noway that pass should of gotten past the 1st defender much less the 2nd. What a crazy finish! Ryle missed a couple of short field goals or this game is over in Regulation!

Maher has a Longer List of Colleges that are recruiting him. I think Derek would of went the Penn State route if it wasn’t for the Package deal with Lorenzen at Kentucky. At least that’s what I assumed. Maher is A Genetic Monster where Smith was a Big Kid that could play TE or WR & Fly!...It didn’t matter where he lined up! I’m a homer here and I’m going with Derek Smith. More Athletic all around.....JMO! But Michael Maher can line up at my “H” receiver anyday of the week and Seal the Edge! Phenomenal blocker but also has great Mitts!

I always wondered what side of the ball Joe Buten would choose. He’s the best tackler in the Sophomore class by Far. Kind of glad he’s on Offense this morning. Highlands needed him and Cooper on the Field last night at the same time. One compliments the Other!
