THUNDERBIRDS Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 I have only seen a few of them so far this year but I'm a homer and have to put Highlands Soph Sam Vinson towards the Top of the List....IMO! He is silky smooth with Ball and does an unbelievable job of seeing the Floor. He can also knock down the open 3 too. He's going to be a good one!
Don't_Hate_the_Playa Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 I can't wait to watch Highlands play - it sounds like they have a lot of important pieces to a championship puzzle. It's usually the case that the team with the best guard play has the best chance to win the most important games. I think that principle is even more magnified this year - there are many good but fewer GREAT players in the 9th this year - so taking care of the ball and creating good opportunities for team offense will separate contenders.
HSBballfan24 Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 PG position in 9th is very talent depleted this season. I don't know of but 3-4 that I would consider as able to be considered the top PG in the 9th. Miller - Newport Disken - Cov Cath Wahl - Holy Cross Karim - Dixie
Call It Like It Is Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 Miller from Newport hands down. Tons of ability, and is big an strong. He is strong finisher at the rim.
nkufan23 Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Pouncy/Green for Holmes. I’d say Pouncy is more of the PG but they both handle the ball. I haven’t seen many games but Dixie’s PG has to be one of if not the best.
