I taught in JC @ Fern Creek for 3 years and I know that back then kids could practice while suspended if the suspension did not involve drugs or alcohol. They must get their own way there. I do not know what the rule is now. I know that certain players will get in trouble on purpose to get out of the work on the field. Fern Creek has had many of those kids lately. It is a shame that the kid mentioned above has such poor work ethic because his raw ability and natural talent are limitless. Unbelieveable what a attitude can do for you good or bad.

Maybe it is just Manual's then but Fern Creek's wing T was better back in the mid 90's however it got stopped in playoffs usually.

Wing T is easy to stop if you play disciplined under control say at home defense.

No kids have transferred yet and Hines has not quit the team but rather has had some problems academically which are being attended to currently. Some of the parents need to be upset as many a fine kid have been ruined at that place unfortunately by the people they live with.

Lex Cath was probably the best Lex team last year.I know Trinity scrimmaged them right!

I got blasted in the past for saying names and just absoutely ruining careers so I am not at liberty to say any names. I get my info from ellow BCPS employees.

That is what shocked me when I heard they passed on some coaches second interview b/c of openings in the building.

A couple I know were Foster and Brohm. Foster had issues with teaching openings. BE hired a coach that fit their vacancies in the building foremost. I do not know Preston but I am sure that program is built on solid ground and he will do good there.

2nd interviews I have heard are Doug Preston and a guy from out in the state I do not know but last name is Gray or Grey.

I deadlifted 640 at 220 lbs my junior year when I won state. At Fern Creek we had a RB that deadlifted over 700 lbs. His name was Jeremy Davis.

Louisville X is playing in it in '09, I think vs. Highlands or Elder.

He is done with the cert. program now and BE is his dream job. He played and had a very successful career there. I believe he was on the team that lost in the finals in the early 90's. Home is where the heart is.

Not arrogant just truth. I have seen the kid at track meets and he is a good athlete, very fast but at some 6A schools he would probably be a LBer.

I trust that the names I mentioned at Butler were at one time candidates. I think many at Butler were even taken back at the events that took place in the closing moments of the hiring. Settles does have some pressure from the home front I know. In his heart I think he wants to stay in best interest of son he will go. Only he knows that answer at this point.

He never said anything bad about Bullitt East? Ellaborate for me what you mean. I know several on his staff out in Mt. Wash and he has been very up front with them and BE about what is going on. It has more to do with family than anything.

I agree, what position in College would he play? He would probably not even run the ball if at X or Trinity and what kind of grades does he get?

I was told just a week ago to the day that they were the best candidates that had applied so they thought but I guess he is a puppet and not a decision maker. Maybe it was who he wanted to apply. I believed him being in the position he holds at the school. If this message board gets someone in trouble I would be surprised.

I know that these guys were or did apply and then pulled their names. Carmony is the coach, Butler program in shambles.
