I dissed the Chargers last week but they must be for real. If they can keep the ball away from Boyle's spread then they will win a tight game.

Dave Hawkins was a great announcer and I never remember him pulling for any team while announcing. I heard him several times.

While at Fc we played them and they ran the wing T and a 50 defense. When KJ was a Soph and Mario wass a senior we put 41 on them. That was 2 year ago so that should not matter. I think X will control teh Wing T and Score at will. I predict 35-14. Victor cannot be stopped. I have never seen explosions like he has through the LOS.

I know that they were banging some in practice this week, more than a usual playoff week. Whatever it was it will work I feel. There are many motivational factors all brewed into one for this week. that is one of Coach Glaser's best attributes is his ability to motivate and fire a team up. If they played manual each week he would come up with something trust me.

He wants revenge for the way Manual dominated the trenches with their lines and their hard hitting.

Also the X players were coming off the Trinity week. Always flat in that game after all the hype from the week before. That will make a huge difference.

I loved Vance for the yellowjackets and thought he would be a bigger star in HS than he has become. His brother Hobbs was a bad dude. I know he is more athletic than Curley but man Brent pulls off some big runs. The wing T somewhat limits the QB.

If you only have 3-4 district games the travel would not be so horrible as 1/2 of those would be at home and you could play local teams for non district play.

I agree, I was saying what may make Coach G mad. If not for the education of a catholic HS alone, Most are going to send their kids where they have a chance to play.

Nichols is not the one continually having to get his kids fired up to beat someone regularly.

I know that until rrecently Manual has let their stadium that X also calls home fall on hard times. The recent improvements have been great and I hope lioght sare next. But in the 80's and most of the 90's the stadium was in bad shape and I know that always bothered Glaser as he played in the same stadium some while at X. Maybe Iam guessing but that is my opinion. It may be all the CSAA kids on their roster?

Fern Creek has that many. 27 of 300+ what an advantage!!! :thumb:
