I think the Tigers win...Again. But, I would like to see the Crimsons shock the world and knock off X...Finally.

Certainly anything can happen. But... I would rather not put it to a test if we don't need to. A title is a title no matter who you defeat in the final. There is also the added bonus of not dealing with the fallout of another T/X final among the public/private crowd.

Lets face it, X has Anderson back and he's probably the difference between X winning by alot or winning by alittle. The games Anderson was out, X still won but not by a HUGE margin. It would be nice for T and X to meet in the final, but T has to win three more games to get there. If Crimsons can contain Anderson, game should be close, but my pick is for X.

I believe that the Tigers will best the Crimsons in the rematch. No surprise, but Anderson is the difference maker for the Tigers. There is speculation all over BGP about one of the "Big Three" falling this weekend. If any one of the Big Three is going to fall this weekend, this is the game in which it could occur. Male is also matched against a rugged opponent in an away game. The Shamrocks look to have the fewest impediments in their path to the next round, although KJ Black could make things interesting.

This is the last chance for the Manual seniors to beat St. X since they were freshmen. Manual has the talent to win the game, but do they have the motivation? St. X has been considered the best team in the state all year. They have huge numbers, and huge linemen, plus a strong running game. Manual is also fast and strong and have improved a lot in since the last time the two teams met. This game may come down to who wants it the most. Manual has nothing to lose here in the eyes of most of the folks on BGP. I say they will come out loose and fast, build a lead, and protect it in the 4th quarter. Manual 21 St. X 17

I think X is the better team. I don't like the fact that Manual didn't get to play against Anderson the first time simply because it gives X another card in the deck. However, what would be interesting is if having Anderson in the lineup makes the tigers more dependant upon him and therefore become less versital.

I can honestly see this game going anywhere from a Manual upset to a St X blowout dependant upon what and when it happens on the field.

X will win..the reason, they are bigger and stronger than manual is faster. I think the Crimsons CAN pull off the upset, but I dont think they will.

I think that we match up best against Male, then Manual, then X....

 

While I feel that we "could" win against any of the three.....it would be easier, IMO, to win against Male....with that said:

I see a lot more improvement in the Tigers (especially in significant players returning from injury...and I mean a lot more than just Anderson) than I do the Crimsons, since their first meeting on 9/30. These are two VERY talented teams, and it is a REAL SHAME that they have to meet so early in the playoffs.
