I especially liked Coach Nichols' comment in the C-J article this morning:

I don't know why Coach Nichols would feel that way, afterall he has a losing record against a potential opponent in the real final. I guess he has just been holding back these past two years hoping to surprise the Rocks come December if we are both good enough to get to PJCS. This guy has a knack for putting his foot in his mouth. Who knows, maybe the Rocks and Rams will meet again in the final, and maybe the "better team" will win. :lol:

St. X did pass against Manual last time. Curley had his worst game of the season, he was 3 of 11 passing, with 1 TD and 2 Ints.

I think the point would be that the Tigers won the first game with defense and the kicking game. If the offense is on tonight then the Tigers chances look good.Especially with the addition of several players who sat out the first game and the addition of some new faces that did not contribute in the first game.Curley should be able to pass more effectively with Vic in the line up.Just bring it on I am getting tired of talking about it.

Also the X players were coming off the Trinity week. Always flat in that game after all the hype from the week before. That will make a huge difference.

Manual played a 4-4 defense against X in the first game, with or without Anderson. Curley's picks came from an ILB going up and grabbing a low throw and a corner going stride for stride down the sideline. There were no zone or route jumped picks.

that is one of Coach Glaser's best attributes is his ability to motivate and fire a team up. If they played manual each week he would come up with something trust me.
