  1. I would look up the out of state stuff again. Out of state teams do not count towards Playoff points.
  2. No. if you have a three way tie (manual beats Male) Then you go to non Dristrict wins. Out of state Teams dont count. Thus Male has wins over ballard, Hoptown,Senca, Those teams wins are what counts. I think they have combined for 12 or so wins. Manual has Warren central, eastern, meade County. I think those teams have combined for 12 or so wins. So If Manual wins and Their three teams win, then it would go ST X, Manual, Male, PRP. If male wins Then it Goes Male, St X, manual, PRP. So the game does matter. only having 9 games hurt male.
  3. was not getting on you, just stating a fact also.
  4. SOrry big guy, he was not the DC, he coached LB's.
  5. That is excusses 0-8 is unacceptable for the largest public school in the state.
  6. Doesnt anybody get it!!!! They wont move it back because Basketball coach's will complain that it will run into their season. So they will just give football 10 weeks and take the NEEDED BYE WEEK. which will screw everyone up that has been trying to get a 2007 season lined up. WE live in a round state when it comes down to it. :D
  7. Well if this is true why arnt they saying anything NOW? Are they Cowards to the point they are going to let it go on???? It seems to me that if he was as bad as you said or say people said that played for him, AND after a tragic death like this happens, why arnt they calling papers and news stations, and telling like he is or was???????? To me that is just as bad ???
  8. TEll me what do you think would happen if anyone could go to any school they wanted to. YOU Honestly dont think or know for that matter it would be total chaos. Come On you want to throw the whole state and federal school system out on its ear just to say "WE arnt going to change mikie you change 1st" that is Mature. So to you it is better to put 90,000 kids in chaos(jefferson county public school kids even though all kids would be effected) Instead of changing the 5% of the private school kids, WHICH by the way according to private supporters there is only a handfull of families that live outside jefferson county. But it is all about the kids isnt it. YhEA RIGHT.
  9. I ignores because IF YOU READ I said must live in jefferson county for both public and private. AND again I guess I am an Commy along with our president and our congress look at what is going on now. WE trample the rights of arabic decent americans to say we are fighting terorist. Those laws were passed not to long ago. Give me a break. OK OK YOU guys WIN AGAIN; YOUR RIGHT, EVERYONE ARE JUST A BUNCH OF WHINNERS AND SORE LOSSERS.
  10. What are you talking about. How is it going to hurt the private schools the 5% I am sure the will make up by working harder to consentrate their efforts in jefferson county. How does it effect the rights of the parents. So what you are saying it is ok for the rights of the public school parents to have limits but not the private school parents. That is what we have now, is it not. if I am a public school parent in Jefferson county I cant just take my kid over to Jeff IN and put him in school there, or anyother county for that matter. I am saying the Private school kidds parents have the same right as the public school kids parents, And that would be to send there kid to ANY school they want in jefferson county. How in the world am I all of a sudden bring down the walls of justice on the parents of the private schools, and trying to shut the doors at the private schools. Again as soon as someone mentions change the attacks come out of the walls. And this BS about eastiest is not what we strive for in sports. Again that is what I am saying the easiest way is the best way:rolleyes: how old are you 80. YEA your right lets make more rules and laws that no one can follow or understand, but it was the hardest way and that shows character:rolleyes:  That is what my grand-dad would say. Read what is written. FOR THE BETTER OF THE WHOLE THE 5% WOULD BE LOST. IF the whole is stopping the fight between private and public. WOULD IT NOT BE THE EASIEST \FAIREST SOLUTION. It would stop all the talk about feeder systems and if you played 8th grade here, or went to 8th grade here and want to go there, and have to sit out 1 or 2 years for this and at what levels. ON and On and On. But According to you this is better because it is not the easiest thing to do. COme on I am giving a common solution to end all this and still no compromise just simply finger pointing and saying that wont be fair for these few families or better yet THAT IS TO EASY AND THAT CANT BE GOOD.
  11. Fine Like I said I am sure they live in jefferson county. Also it took a court ruling for male to take kids outside the traditional system. Like I said I have no problem with public school kids going to private schools or vis-versa as long as they LIVE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY. DO they play football?
  12. I dont know how to break up stuff to quote you. You are missing the whole point, or avoiding it. Remeber We are talking about SPORTS here. Do we agree that 95% of the kids that go to Private schools live in Jefferson county. YES And T and X win with kids that all come from jefferson county anyway- Right Then Why would they not just say "To stop all of this fighting, We will stay in jefferson county, Since that is what we are doing anyway, except for one or two kids. We see that that if public schools could take kids from anywhere that would be a big mess, The easiest thing to do is for us just to stay in jefferson county and you all The Publics stop all of this other non sense and finger pointing." you can sit here and say it is not fair for the three family's that live in Nelson County or the two that live in Clark, IN. They have the right to attend X. SURE they do and if it means that much to them then they would move 20 miles. And you are wrong residency has alot to do with where a kid can play and when - look at the transfer rules. I guess you are just one of those people who would not sacrfice a few for the common good. Kill one person to save 1000's. Which is fine. But to me to stop taking in those 5% to stop all this BS would well be worth it and plus would be fair to everybody. The publics would not have anything more to say. Then when T and X beat the snot out of everyone no one can point fingers and say that kid is from IN or Nelson if we could have him we would win to. what about the best little actor in nelson county I am sure He/she would love to go to YPAS at Manual or Ballard and majior in it, but he/she cant. FAIR - no, but those are the rules. If his or her family wanted their kid to get that education then they would move to jefferson county. If it was not that important to them then thay would stay. You can always What if and say what about This ONE or two Examples it is not fair to them. Looking at the problem and finding the easiest and best solution to the WHOLE (95%) not everyone is a good thing.
  13. That is the whole thing there has to be some limits. anytime you have limits some people will be left out, that is how the world is. But the majority wont be effected. As I have read on here a thousand times about people find ways to make it work for them to send there kids to private schools (two and three jobs) then if education means that much to them then they would have to move to jefferson county, if not then stay and go to the school where you live. Nobody said it would easy for everyone but it never is.
  14. yes if they want to play sports with the big boys then yes. Wont that be fair? And there is no Animosity that is something that privates always take when anyone tries to come up with a solution that will make a change for them. I just dont think that if ALL private schools (is that better) say we will stay in jefferson county, that is a big deal or change, since as stated eariler on other post that 95% of the stundent body comes from there anyway. that would go a very long way and would put a end to all these privat public talk- That is the main Goal is it not. Thanks for the history class. You cant argue that would not be the easiest way, and the best way for everyone.
  15. Good, then why dont they just say we will only take kids from Jefferson county. Come on, one of the founding thoughts of the US was public education. Think of the mess it would cause if we were to say OK everyone can go anywhere they want. That is what you are saying right, Every kid should be able to go anywhere they want, right. Kids from IN comeing here kids from here going there, kids from other counties going here and vis-versa. That would cause a big big problem. it would be easier for T and X to say, OK 95% of our student body comes from jefferson county anyways, we should only take students from there. No Problems to me. Then all would be fair, I never said public kids cant go to catholic schools or vise-versa, just make them play by open enrollment rules. What would be the big deal about that. You would still get all the kids your going to get now. (or at least that is what I am hearing from you)
