Wayne Co was hoping for this rematch, they will pound SW the rest of the game. Good run for SW, but wayne had revenge on their minds.

No offense but maybe the thinking like this from parents is the reason Madison Southern hasn't climbed out yet... just a thought? New Coach, New Staff, New Era same ole parents way of thinking... Just a thought brother. Let the past die, and wake up for the new culture. Alot of examples of the same team (players) under different coaches doing very well. It happens all the time.

Difference this time from the past, the Admin and people in charge, are putting forth the effort.

I believe he is from IN. Played ball at Ohio U, under Jim Grobe. Coached HS at Warren Cent (I believe that is right) in Indianapolis. GA at Ohio, Auburn, among a few others I think. Also coached at Idaho State as the OL coach. This is all what I have been told. More to come on Friday, I think.

NWO- You are correct. He has an impressive background for such a young coach. High school, college and Europe coaching backgrounds. Got to meet him yesterday, very intense guy, knowledgable and ready to rock. He is in the process of putting a staff together. More details will be out friday.

To say UK couldn't use this type player isn't accurate. You are telling me that UK as a S.E.C school couldn’t use his speed, athletism and ability somewhere? But a conference foe running the west coast style can?…….Id rather have him in there then any FB UK currently has. If UT took him after taking Bryce Brown (#1 RB in the country) this year, then this kid (fugate) must have something, to play there with him. Not trying to ruffle feathers but UK must of just gotten in on this kid late and couldn’t recover. I am sorry I don’t buy that UK couldn’t use him, I just don’t. No offense to anyone just my opinion.

I've seen every SW game this year either in person or on film, the LB's that were playing, were sorry to say TERRIBLE! Not to mention showed a " I dont care attitude." I would have benched them as well. The (2) freshman you speak of were head and shoulders above the others. Of course all IMO, however I know its right.

I would have to somewhat disagree with that statement; although it certainly didn’t look like it, SW had a great week of pra. They (coaching staff) put together a great game plan. The problem and the problem of the last 2 yrs, the players didn’t execute. If you turn the ball over, and get beat on special teams, you will lose esp. against a good team. I've said it before the coaches can't throw, catch, block or tackle; they can only put the players in the right spot (Captain Obvious over here). It’s up to the players to make the play. I'm sorry I’m not going to sugar coat it like so many others do, the players came out not ready to go. Some would say "well that’s the coach’s fault." Yes to a point it is, but it’s the playoffs, and if you can't get yourself ready for that, then no one can. The rain seemed to be on the mind of most instead of catching the Kickoffs, or blocking # 86, catching passes or playing football in general for that matter. Once again not trying to throw anyone under the bus, but at some point you've got to wonder if "selfishness" of a few drown (no pun intended) the play of everyone. LCC showed outstanding hospitality and a great fball atmosphere. Good luck to LCC, they have a heck of a team, and GREAT football facilities.

I played with a couple guys in college who lost 3-4 games their entire HS career and never made the playoffs in Ohio. I couldnt believe it, but it was b/c they were in SE Ohio and didnt have the SOS or Points to make it. Crazy IMO Edit: Not to mention KY doesnt have nearly the amount of teams Ohio does.

Great Season for Berea, buddy of mine coaches there. If they can cont. to grow the kid count they can be pretty good program, and they will with success.
