I was looking at Berea's schedule. Their not listed as being in a class, district, or anything. Is their record considered to be varsity or jv?

Varsity they are not competing for the district right now I would say they would be Class A someone else could tell you more about that I am just geussing on their classifiacation.

Yes they should be Class A. They were in Racelands district before they closed the program for a year or so. I'm not sure what district they will be in after the realingment.

This is just speculation, but I would think they would be in the district with Lynn Camp, Williamsburg, Campbellsvile, and Clinton County. At least if I were doing the scheduling that would be how it would go. Actually, I would take C-ville out of it and put them a little closer to home. 2hr minimum for a district game is ridiculous.

Yeah me either.

Bracken Co. has about the same type of travel.

Bracken Co. has about the same type of travel.

Several schools have these travel issues in the current alignment including Ashland.

This is correct

Berea and Raceland were in the same district. It was closer to a 3 hour bus ride. The game was usually @8:00. We fed our team after the game. we didn't usually get home till 1 or 2 in the AM.

Great Season for Berea, buddy of mine coaches there. If they can cont. to grow the kid count they can be pretty good program, and they will with success.

Would be a great season if they played in a district and not a JV schedule.

It is a great season for the kids. They (the kids) have no control on the schedule. They show up everyday and work their tails off in practice so I take nothing away from them. I tip my hat to to the kids for their dedication & sacrifice to the program. I hope the community and the administration does the same.

They did not play a JV schedule.....they just did'nt play a district schedule. This has been done before by teams attempting to "rebuild"...Rowan a few years ago comes to mind.

Yeah, but the Tomcats make that up with playing the bulk of their non-district games at home. Ashland is infamous for insisting on it. In that way, they're a lot like Bell Co.
