All very good points! I agree with you. What looks bad is one official calling them all away from the ball or not nearest to the play. I understand better angles and sometimes behind the play is a better view. That's why I like the huddle of officals to get a concenus of what each seen. This was my point. I know there are stronger officials than others and it's a very hard job to do and I agree with most calls even if I'm lobbing to get one back. Keep it up guys and we'll continue to boo some calls and cheer others and maybe just try and lobby for a call ever now and again....................LTW.

All very true! The ones that get me is calls being made from across the floor. If the guy right on the play doesn't see nothing then how in the world from across the floor do they see something. I really like the officals to get together on some calls about the ball going out, who they see touched it last. It really is a hard job, and I like for the offficals to go with some non-calls about things. No reaching in on the dribbler, I'd call this everytime. Body up on the player but to me reaching in and hitting arms, legs, waist, sholders, all to me are fouls. Great job guys!!

The only thing you said was, the ball was going out of bounds. You didn't say player A1 was dribbling the ball and lost control and the ball was going out. If player A1 is trying to save an over throw ball going out of bounds then if he/she saves it from going out then yes they can continue. Now if they dribble it out then they have to continue dribbling or pass it off to someone else if he/she was to pick up their dribble.

Only info you need to know is player A1 in, not touching out of bounds while trying to save the ball. Player A1 can come back in bounds and continue to control the ball.

I was at the game until half time. These girl were throwing it in the hole. They were running the court too. I had to leave but wish I could have stayed to see the whole game. Southwestern/ Rockcastle get it going next game. Going to be fun to watch.

I'm trying to remember this, who shot the T's for PC. John only shot his foul shots, why would he have shot the T's as well or is there a rule he couldn't. Somerset shot their T's and wasn't it side out to Somerset? I just can't remember. If it was double T's called do they go to poss arrow? Who shot the T's for PC? John shot the T's on Somerset's Coach eariler.

What do I Love about High School football. First off, I did play in high school. I wasn't on a very good team but we still played just like everyone else. I've always been a fan of the game but never to the extent I am now. While my son grew up and starting playing this game it became much clearer why kids play and love this game. It truly is "The Greatest Game". As someone else said it does prepare you for "LIFE". Someone once said if you can play football and take all that punishment and abuse from your coaches trying to make you a better player you will be able to do anything. ANYTHING!! I believe that to be a true statement. Now years later watching my son play, it's the greatest feeling to see a kids dream come true. No accomplishment in my life will ever compare to seeing him fullfill a dream of playing college football. To see him run out onto the field for his first game was trully amazing!! I had several friends with me to share the moment with and I truely thank GOD for such a wonderful young man. I truly am blessed. God greatest give to you are your children..................... That is why I LOVE this game........LTW.

Does anyone know if KCU will have scholly for next year. I know a player that really didn't get no pub. and played at school that just started back playing varsity football this last season. I believe he could play college ball with a little help he could see about getting into playing next season. He's still in high school and will graduate this spring. If anyone knows please send me a PM or post for some others as well. For all the players going Congrats and enjoy getting to play for 4 to 5 more years. It truly is an honor!

Congrats guys and it was fun to watch you all play this past season and the one prior. Great bunch of kids and they all will do well with their teams!! Join the kids leaving for college out of Southwestern. Great job Coach Anderson as always. Any word on the Brumley kid? He has good size to play and was a 1st. team all state pick.

Great story and all of us here in Warrior country wish him well. This folks is why you always play with heart and respect other players and coaches because you never know who's watching and who has a chance to help you out. You are correct!! My bad, I talked to Chris at Madison Central in Dec. when he was there along with Paul Wolford at a B-ball game. He said he was ready to get after it on the football field. I'm glad he's doing good and ready to play for the "CATS"

The coach may not tell someones child but a recruiting agency will. The coach should but sometimes won't. I just don't get it sometimes. I know for a fact that some coaches do more than others but they all do something and try very hard. I know in this area all the coaches try to help other teams kids. Some kids stand out and the coaches really try and help them get into college no matter what team they play for. Like I said this is why some really good coaches don't coach because of parents.
