Fairview this Friday at 7:30 They had their first practice today. I don't know how long they practiced for several hours and they are practicing again tomorrow morning at 9:00am.

:creepy: Sorry didn't read the list well. Schafer is the Michael that I can confirm. Coach Tackett called last night and they are supposed to be at Fairview HS at 2:00 on Sunday.

I can confirm that Michael is going to play. He is picking up his equipment tomorrow. As for the others I know nothing definate.

I know that Balfour gives the head coach a free ring. But at Russell we had to raise funds for all of the assistants along with the players.

HMMMM let's see. Michael Gabbard is playing at Georgetown. Matt Thompson was playing at Gtown. Nick Collins went to Thomas Moore. Elijah Mullins is at Centre. Josh Gross and Dan Meko are at Georgetown. Those are just the recent ones off the top of my head. As for no players with failing grades I hope you are not implying that the coaches help with grades. I was at the senior awards last year and several players got awards. There were several that graduated with honors and are pursuing degrees at colleges. I know for a fact that my son is carrying a 3.7 in honors and AP classes and has not received any help. It's very low of someone to imply such things with no knowledge.

I am looking for information on the Down Under Bowl put on by International Sports Specialists Inc. It is a trip to New Zealand to play for the KY state team. My son received information on this and I am wondering if it is a worthwhile venture?

It's my inderstanding that they are looking into putting turf on the field to try to alleviate the drainage problem. Then possibly go towards the fieldhouse. Talking possibly adding a second floor because when it was built it was designed to add a second floor.

That breaks down to $189.00 per ring from Balfour. We could have went with solid gold for $375.00 but decided that these were fine. :thumb:

Schafer is looking at WV Tech Possibly. He just wants to go somewwhere to play ball.

I have to clarify this. I was the president of the boosters. We could not have done it without everyones help. While I would love to take credit for it I was only a small part of the entire operation. Thanks and I will be around next year to pull for our Devils. :fire:

It's actually gold celenium. And no we went through Balfour so no problems at all.

We just had to fundraise. The rings were about 15,000. So far we are at ~13,000 and still have several weeks left. :thumb:

Good question. Our colors are Maroon, Vegas Gold and White. But you have to admit that the Red Devils sounds better than the Maroon Devils huh.

IMO I think the 2 teams that will give you troubles non district are Belfry and Russell. Belfry always played Ironton tough and are just a tough all around team. Russell. Well they have played enough to say that this game could go either way in any given year. But I do see Ashland being a strong contender for the district crown. Heck being a Russell fan I may make the trip to see the Ashland/Belfry game. It should be a barn burner. The pond creek faithful always bring a big crowd whether home or away.

Cmon now. He"s picking Russell to win the district. He's just wondering who the dark horse will be this year. I'd agree with him on Morgan. They are getting better and better and are ready to have a breakout year.

No problem MOJO. I just noticed that sometime the KHSAA has been wrong. Just wondering if this was one of those times. Anyway that is an awesome achievement to even get close to that in a game. :thumb:
